Alright, to start us off, I am going to tell you some basic words, not phrases.
Tip: if a word ends with a "u" dont say the u. most of the time it is silent like in ohayogozaimasu, you pronounce it like ohayogozaimas.
Hello: Konnichiwa
Goodbye: Sayōnara
How do you do?: hajimemashite
Good Morning: Ohayogozaimasu
Good afternoon: Konnichiwa
Good evening: konbonwa
Good night: oyasuminasai
