{Farkle's POV}
"FARKLE! WHAT THE HECK!" Maya screamed at me
"Chill, it's just a book." I said to her
"IT'S NOT JUST A BOOK! I spent my whole life drawing in that book! All my inspirations are in it! I never want to talk to you ever again!" She slammed her hand on the table
"Like I want to talk to you" I scoffed
"I WOULDN'T EVEN PRETEND TO BE FRIENDS WITH YOU IF OUR PARENTS AREN'T GREAT FRIENDS!"
"I'll buy you a new sketchbook then. God, chill."
"YOU SPILLED YOUR DRINK ON IT! It's all soaked right now!"
"Maya, calm down." Riley, her best friend, places her hands on her shoulder
"Farkle, apologise." Lucas, my best friend and Riley's boyfriend, told me
"Ugh, Fine. I'm sorry for spilling my drink of your sketchbook Maya." I told Maya, "Even though it'll dry." I then mumbled
"I'M NEVER TALKING TO YOU AGAIN! WHO CARES IF OUR PARENTS ARE FRIENDS!" Maya said and walked away crying
"Maya! Wait!" Riley ran after her
"Dude!" Lucas looked at me
"It's just water! It'll dry!" I protested
"That's not what's messed up! You ruined something that's very important to her and you don't even care. You were a jerk to her when you did something wrong. Yes, it might dry, but still. You messed up!"
Me and Maya has always hated each other. Ever since we met at Riley's Halloween party, we're always butting heads and we are always screaming or shouting at each other. But the worst part is that our parents are GREAT friends, so we need to be friends.

"Hey! Maya! Where are you going! Our parents said we need to ride home together! Get in the car!" I shouted at Maya when I see her walk pass the car
"I'm walking home. There's no way I'm riding in the same car as you!" Maya glared at me
"Stop being so stubborn and just get in the car!" I opened the passenger seat
"NO!" Maya screamed and walked away with Riley
"Fine! But don't blame me when you get in danger!" I rolled my eyes and got in my car. I have to get home early because my mom and dad are having a big event for their new technology launch

I got ready and went to the place where they're holding the event. I came a bit late but I see my parents talking to Maya's mom and Maya's just next to them. I walked towards them and Maya rolled her eyes at me.
"Hello father, mother. Hi Mrs. Hunter." I greeted them
"So how's you and Maya's friendship going? Less fighting?" My dad asked us
"We're uhhh. We're doing great." Maya lied
"That's amazing because you two need to start dating." My mom said all of a sudden
"WHAT?!" Both me and Maya screamed
"Mom! What the heck!" I yelled at her
