Heart Full Of Angst

Ma and Pa had taken Sarah out for a little dinner, Seth said he was feeling unwell because he wanted to talk to Dakota alone, without the crowd and when he heard the sizzle in the kitchen he knew it was his chance

"Kota?" He called, taking some steps towards her and she froze briefly

"What's up Seth?" She asked in a sigh as she turned whatever she had in the pan

"I want to talk, please?" He asked and she closed her eyes and turned around

"What do we gotta talk about?" She asked with a shrug and Seth huffed

"Don't act as if you aren't bothered by this. Don't act as if Sarah being here doesn't bother you," he told her and she sighed

"I dunno what exactly it is you wanna hear Seth, cuz yeah of course it bothers me, but I don't really have a say in anything," she dismissed

"Kota please, I love you," he told her and she tensed up before she sighed and turned back to him

"Seth-" she began but he shook his head and drew impossibly close to her

"Let me prove it," he told her and she tilted her head

"How do you suppose you're gonna do that?" She asked and Seth's lips pressed against hers and sparks flew through her body, head to toe

"Let me make love to you," he whispered, his breath fanning her neck as he leaned in to press kisses on her smooth skin

"Seth-" she tried, wrapping her arms around her neck and Seth lifted her on the counter and continued kissing her skin

"Wait Seth, let's go in the bedroom," she told him, reaching over to take off the stove as Seth lifted her in his arms and walked them up the stairs

She woke up in her own bed the next morning and she smiled when she thought about what happened last night. The way Seth held her as they made love, he was soft and sweet, putting thought into every movement, her skin blossoming as he touched her

It was an amazing night, she got off the bed and grinned at the picture of Seth and her as kids, climbing over the farm gate. Good times.

She giggled as she saw the hickey on her shoulder when she looked in the mirror, she showered and got dressed and went downstairs seeing Seth and Sarah sitting at the table, Sarah was so happy it seemed while Seth shrunk down when he saw her come down

"Good morning," she greeted and then paused on her way to the fridge as she saw everyone except Sarah had a cautious expression on their face

"Is everything okay?" She asked and Sarah smirked, standing up

"Did you enjoy your night with my boyfriend last night?" She asked and Dakota's eyes widened

"I-"

"Yeah that's right you little bimbo, I know all about it," Sarah said

"Hey! Don't call her that," Pa told Sarah, angry expression on her face

"You're right Pa, anyhow, it was only a one night thing," Sarah said with a shrug

"Oh please, Seth loves me," Dakota said, tired of Sarah's prissy attitude

"Oh does he? No, no, Seth doesn't love you, in fact-" she paused and turned to Seth

"Tell her baby," Sarah told him and he looked up at her with pleading eyes

"Fine, I'll tell her," she said with a hair flip

"Seth and I are getting married," Sarah told her and Dakota stared at the outstretched hand with the stunning diamond ring on it
