Dakota was sitting on the edge of the dock, the night breeze whipping her hair around, she was at peace

Seth was up in his room, Sarah was on the bed with her computer and Seth was watching Dakota through the window, they hadn't gotten a moment alone in so long

Dean walked past the kitchen window and saw Dakota sitting on the dock, he bit his lip and wiped his hands on his shorts and went out, feeling the cool breeze on his warm skin

Dakota stiffened as she heard the footsteps on the docks coming towards her

"Hey," she heard and relaxed when she realized it was Dean

"Hey," she replied, looking at the water as he took a seat next to her

"Nice night out," he said

"You're leaving tomorrow," she commented and he sighed and hugged one of his knees to his chest

"Yeah well, Hollywood needs me," he said jokingly but Dakota frowned

"I really enjoyed having you here Dean," she told him and he smiled genuine and wide

"I really enjoyed being here Dakota, I always loved a simple life but I couldn't remember how that was before I met you and came here." He said

"I'm really gonna miss you Dean," she said and he chuckled

"Yeah? I'll miss you to Dakota, you were one of the first people to make me feel normal, not like those girls in Hollywood that throw themselves at my feet." He said, looking at the water

"I've never met someone like you, and anyone who knows me will say I'm a player, or that I can't keep a stable relationship or they'll say that I'm no good," he admitted

"But you make me wanna be better, I'd gladly put my playboy ways behind for you, to just spend a week with you and fall for you, is insane to me." He admitted and Dakota gasped

"You fell for me?" She asked and he nodded

"Would be impossible not to, you got those big brown eyes, that sweet smile, that nice figure, the really contagious smile and the amazing personality, give yourself some credit," he said and she smiled

"Everyone probably fell for you already," he dismissed

"Except the one person I wanted to fall for me," she replied with a sad smile and Dean chuckled and slid a little closer

"Listen Kota," he began

"If he hadn't fell for you, he wouldn't be watching us from his bedroom window right now," he told her and she looked at him

"Just waiting for him to make a right move," Dean finished

"Why don't you make the right move?" She asked flirtatiously and he leaned forward to kiss her lips

"Because no matter how much right moves I make, you want Skunk boy," he said smiling when Dakota began laughing

"I really wish you weren't leaving tomorrow," she admitted and he smiled

"Me to, but you have my number, you can call me or text me anytime," he promised and she smiled

-The Next Day-

"Thank you for everything Mr. and Mrs. Rollins," Dean thanked, hugging the elderly couple

"You were a gem Dean," Ma told him, punching his chubby cheek

"And don't be a stranger now ya hear?" Pa continued and Dean nodded with a warm smile

"See you in 3 months," Dean said as he walked over to Seth who had a contemplative look on his face

"Bye Dean," Seth said, hugging the man in front of him and Dean patted his back

"Make a move before someone else does," Dean whispered into his ear and patted his back once more before he let go

Dakota was leaning against the truck, and Dean realized she couldn't make eye contact with him and that made him smile a tiny bit

"Dakota?" He asked with a small smile and she sighed and looked at him, reaching over to hug him

He dropped his duffel bag to hug her back, tight. He felt her hold tighten and he smiled against her shoulder

"Gonna miss you," he said and she couldn't help herself as she leant closer and pressed a kiss to his lips, smiling when he immediately kissed back and that's when the taxi pulled up

"Bye Dakota," he said as he put his bags in the back and she smiled ruefully

"Bye Dean," she replied and he winked as he got into the taxi and they pulled off

Dakota sighed and looked at everyone before she sighed and went to the docks where she had sat so many nights to just think

She sighed, it was different when the sun was out, but she needed to be alone for a while and here's the place she could do that

She sighed. Things were getting tough on the farm, she felt emotionally exhausted, all day.

Seth was still at the window, watching her when the bedroom door opened, he did not bother to turn around, he just stayed there, watching the soft sunlight beams of the early morning shone on her and made her look angelic

"Seth?" He heard Sarah ask

"Hm?" He asked in reply, eyes still glued to where Dakota was sitting

"Why do you look at Dakota like that?" She asked suspiciously and Seth looked at her

"I don't look at her anyhow Sarah, I'm looking at the horses, Dakota needs to groom them," he said dismissively and Sarah nodded, seeming to believe him

He sat on the bed and rubbed his forehead, things were getting so complicated now and Sarah was leaving in 3 days, hopefully by then he would be able to fix things with Dakota.
