"And this is Skayler Vuksan, who has completely dominated this level, pitching against the recent Minor League Player of the Year Christian Yelich," the announcer spoke. Their house was quiet, the house no longer loud and rambunctious from her two children.

Charlotte, the proud mother of the Vuksan twins, was currently watching her daughters recent Minor League game.

And she couldn't be prouder.

She was subscribed to the Minor League TV, where she would constantly get updates. At the moment, the Monatees were playing the Hammerheads. Skayler had become the starting pitcher, and a damn powerful one.

"Strike one to Yelich, a breaking ball in the inside corner. This will be an amazing experience for the two, both of which are dominating in their rookie years so far,"

"I agree, this one will be fun to watch. Ball one, just outside,"

Charlotte zoned back in, watching her daughter pitch left handed to get another strike. She honestly had no clue what any pitch was called, other than a curve and fastball.

It was late, currently, but it was probably not too late by her.

"Strike two, a killer changeup that Yelich swung and missed,"

"She is probably one of the best pitchers at the changeup. Amazing change in speed, going from an average fastball to a near stand-still," Charlotte silently agreed. Slightly biased, sure, but amazing nonetheless. When she came back to it, she saw that it was a 3-2 count.

"Skayler Vuksan against Christian Yelich, who do you think will win?"

"I'm going for Yelich, these seem easy to hit off of,"

"I'm not sure, she has some killer pitches with either hand,"

The next ball came whizzing in and-

"Damn! Strike three call on Christian Yelich, strikeout number one seventy-two for Skayler this season," Charlotte jumped from her seat in joy, clapping her hands together in excitement.

"Told ya, she's a damn good pitcher," Skayler had tapped her heart twice before raising her hand towards Yelich, who reciprocated back to her.

"Christian and Skayler, who played together their first minor league year, are quite close friends, even now," the announcer explained. The door rattled slightly, causing the older womans heart to skip a beat.

She turned off the game, turning around before running into the kitchen. She grabbed one of the twins' first bats and held it up to protect herself.

The door opened and she nearly swung at whoever just walked in.

"James? What the fuck!" She called out, dropping the bat in surprise. "You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

He laughed. "Thats not all," he gave jazz hands as Skayler walked in and hugged her mother tightly.

"God I missed you, Ma," Charlotte hugged her daughter back, before looking at the two.

"You two conspired against me, didn't you?" She accusingly glared at them. They both held their hands up in mock surrendor. Shrugging, they made eye contact and giggled softly.

"Maybe, maybe not," Skayler tilted her head up in a cocky manner.

"I'm just so happy you two are home and it wasn't some dude angry about something coming to hurt me," they all laughed, nodding before walking inside to see how everyone had been before they could get together.
