"BREAKING NEWS: MIRACLE AND SEVENTEEN DATING APPROVED?!"
While the other girls looked through with confusion and concern in their eyes, the five girls only glanced at their fellow members. Worry and nervousment astonished their faces as the eleven other members switched their gazes from them and the article.
Shinhye was the first to snap out of her daze, ready to question the motive behind this controversy. Surely, the company knew what this could do to them, with the endgame coming so soon.
Before she could even question them, Miran spoke up. "We were personally asked to reveal our relationships and to pretend to date by the boys mentioned in the article," the leader explained. "Not all of us are dating, but the media twists it that way."
The maknaes held each other as Miran continued. "But what is real is Sumin and Joshua's relationship. They were the first ones to tell the company and were the first ones to reveal themselves. For that courage, I feel like we should stick by them."
Silence was the only response until Sumin started to cry. To her, it was because of her relationship with Joshua that the other four girls had to reveal their relationships with the other members of SEVENTEEn, only for the words to get twisted in painful ways. For Miran―her best friend and leader―to stand up for her through thick and thin, washed away the ghosts that haunted her from her past.
Welcoming the crying Sumin with open arms, it didn't take long until all of MIRACLE comforted the girl with a relationship.

Miran took a step outside of their dorm, leaving the girls to talk amongst themselves inside. She used her hands to fan herself from the nightly humidity, absentmindedly thinking about Chan-sunbaenim's request just the day before.
Had she never listen to him, would she be able to protect those she loved? No, she wouldn't. The world was cruel, and even the first-hand experience that they all suffered could not explain everything about cruelty.
Miran was literally knocked out of her mind when a pebble came flying through the air and attacking her exposed forehead. A small cry of pain escaped through her lips as she looked down to see who was the culprit.
There, Minghao stood with his hands tucked into his black jeans, his flannel wrapped around his waist hiding the connection of his white shirt and pants. A silver dog tag hung around his neck as he looked up at her.
"Miran-ah! Could you get Zain-ah?" He shouted, not caring for whoever could be listening.
Miran, for all she was worth, wanted to scold him for trying to take Zain-eonnie out right after the controversy about all of them came out, but she knew better. She nodded, before going back inside to grab the girl in question.

In a few minutes, Zain came walking out of their complex door looking different than she did when she was in MIRACLE's dorm. Her hair was pushed onto one side of her head, the tips curled slightly as they trailed down her black sweater. The sweater was tucked into her knee-length white skirt and was paired with her favorite pair of worn out Converse.
She smiled as she reached Minghao, who was staring at her in awe. Heat crept up her cheeks as she asked, "You called for me, Minghao-sunbaenim?"
The male frowned at the formality, but it disappeared just as fast. "Zain-ah, let's go on a date."
"R-right now?" Zain stumbled across her words, not expecting the response he gave. Her cheeks burned as she tried to cover her eyes from him.
He chuckled, taking her hand and pulling her into his body. She stiffened when her hands collided with his chest, his body heat warming her up. She hid her face in the crook of his arm, clutching him tighter.
She didn't see it, but Minghao smiled at her cute actions. He unconsciously raised his hand to pet her but stopped himself.Instead, he took her hand into his and led them towards their date destination. "Let's go, my princess."
