"Thank you for coming out to meet me today, Miran," Chan said, holding the girl's hand in his own. His admiration for her evident as they took a walk around the city, identities exposed and affections on display.
Bypassers looked at the idol couple with a mixture of emotions as the couple walked to their intended destination. Many whispered about either one of the couple or both entirely.
The destination in mind was a cafe that was owned by one of Miran's step-siblings. It was there that their exposed relationship would act as a way of fan meeting as well as publicity for the shop.
It was requested by her Father, after all.
They were just right outside of the cafe, a fan's voice startled the couple.
"Wait just a minute!" The two waited as a fan and a friend of her's approach them. The friend looked at the friend with a look of 'Are you stupid?' while the fan pointed a finger at them. "You have to break up!"
The two idols looked at the fan with no emotion and instead made a move to enter the shop. It was the touch of the fan that made them stop though.
"Wait! I wasn't done!" The fan looked at Miran, jealousy burning behind her charcoal eyes. "You don't deserve to be with Chan-oppa!"
Miran only raised one brow, seeming to piss the fan off. "Chan-oppa has worked so hard to get to where he is today; years of training, while you only debuted after one month of training, because of your father!"
Chan saw the fan's friend nod her head slightly, agreeing with the statement her friend just made about Miran. Chan's blood boiled, but he knew he couldn't do anything.
Miran opened her mouth to say something but was cut off when a familiar voice interrupted her. "That's so not true, you brat!"
Everyone turned to the voice, seeing a male-female pair walking towards them. The female was burning with hatred towards the rude fan while the male was throwing daggers at the man besides Miran.
The fan scoffed. "Why do you think so, huh?"
The female flipped her off, not caring about the looks she was getting. "If Chen Linong can debut with only three days of dance training, Yeon Miran can debut with just a month of training."
"What does this have to do with their relationship?"
The female smirked. "It means she has so much more talent that your precious 'Chan-oppa.'" The fan threw daggers at the female for mocking her voice. "I wouldn't be surprised if it was Chan that asked Miran out. After all, Miran is such a goddess."
The male threw his two cents in. "Miran deserves someone better than the man standing next to her." For emphasis, he glared at Chan who gladly did the same.
