We open up to a white silhouette of the Tree of Life amongst the black background. As we keep watching, we see the darkness seeping into the tree, starting from the tips of its branches and gradually spreading to its roots. In return, the white is slowly seeping outside of the tree, replacing the black to be pure white. As the tree descends to darkness, the trunk of the tree starts to decay and disappear. The video replays itself, to the point where the darkness first seeps into the branches, but instead, it was the trunk of the tree that is first infected. The camera pans into the swirling darkness of the trunk.
We are shown a girl (YURI) at a fork in the road. Her facial expressions are calm, confident, the cross signs blurred. She goes right, while a copy of her goes the opposite way. This continues, as the results of each choice get drastic. At some times, she sees her opposite self dying because of the choice she didn't pick, resulting in her growing fear.
After every wrong choice that she makes with her real self, scars are inflicted onto her body. As she continues down the road, she sees her friends (MIRACLE) but as she continues on, she sees fights and disbandment.
She is at the three-month mark after their debut, she is not presented with another fork in the road, but two mirrors. And in those mirrors are two different reflections of herself. One looks healthy, happy, and is smiling while singing. The other is pale, sunken eyes with black orbs.
Scared, she stepped back, and as she did, the two mirrors in front of her exploded into shards. She turned to escape but was stopped by the pale-faced version of herself.
The other version grabbed her arm, we are shown how her nails dig into the skin. The other version was not moved when she struggled against her grip.
The screen went to black, white text appearing onto the screen as a hoarse female voice spoke them.
As soon as the last word was spoken, we return to the girls just as the positive reflection punched the darker one. The dark one screamed in pain, holding onto her decaying face as small droplets of blood fell. The camera follows the blood and sees it being manipulated to be in the shape of a lotus flower. As soon as its shape was completed, a bright light shined.
The girl wakes up in confinement of glass. She sees her friends suffer through their trials, and is faced with a choice to either stay and watch them save themselves or join and face death.
She is done with the choices and breaks the glass. Blood drips onto the broken glass as she escapes and joins her friends, she too running through the maze.
We don't follow her as we usually do, but we follow the blood that was from her. They too are manipulated and shaped into a lotus flower. We are shown through flashbacks that the other girls too had this dried blood shaped lotus where they were.
We go under the flooring to see that the lotuses are dripping water, 9 drops a second each lotus. In the shadows, we see another girl, chains all around her body, and a man with red eyes behind her.

miracoolxlotus: I loved EVERYTHING about this MV, EXCEPT the creepy man underneath the maze.
