"why's everyone crying?" hoseok asked, his voice was frail and weak.

all four people surrounding hoseok yelled, "hoseok!" at the same time.

hoseok looked confused, his eyes looked around the room, "what the hell happened?" he asked slowly, his voice in agony.

the four adults in the room stared at each other, not knowing who should explain what happened.

minjee stepped up, "you ran in front of a car to save my life." she answered.

"oh, is that what happened? well i'm just glad you're okay." hoseok said with a weak smile.

jin stepped up, "we've been so worried about you, we thought- we thought you were gonna die." he sobbed for the five hundredth time.

hoseok managed a dry laugh, "well i'm fine now so it's fine, don't cry jin." he reassured.

"i'm glad you're back." namjoon laughed.

hoseok faced namjoon, "glad i'm not dead." he laughed unenthusiastically.

yoongi shuffled his feet a little and shifted weight from time to time. he refused to meet eyes with anyone so his head was down the whole time.

hoseok looked around and saw yoongi, "who're you?" he asked.

tae sat at a convenience store, he opened up a bag of bbq chips and started munching on them, he opened up a can of cherry soda and started sipping on that not too long after.

he stared up at the night sky and sighed, everything on his mind was blank, he honestly didn't know what the hell to do at that point in his life. he had travelled all the way to america and for what? he was just hiding from his problems as per usual.

suddenly, there was a buzz from his phone, tae took it out and saw that jungkook had texted him.

jungkook: hey, tae? where're you rn
9:53 p.m.

taehyung: l.a. at some convenience store, why?
9:54 p.m.

jungkook: is it possible for me to come there?
9:54 p.m.

taehyung: i mean that's a bit sudden but sure
9:54 p.m.

taehyung: but why tho?
