After realizing that her feelings were actually love not just a friendly thing she jumped out of her seat not believing what her mouth had just uttered . Thinking about anything is totally different than saying it out loud. There is a confirmation vibe around any thought when it is said out loud. It maybe because when it is just a thought in the mind it feels like a dream or a passing issue not an actual thing.

After saying that she loved Eyad, her brother was stuck shocked. He knew deep down that their feelings weren't just a friendly one but he didn't think his sister would say it out to him. Moreover, he was shocked his sister would be like those who are in a relation and have feelings for someone else other than their partner. It was a complicated situation he never wanted to be part of.

"What are you saying, Sarah?" Adham clenched his teeth "you are engaged or have you forgot about Omar who you were so deeply in love with just months ago!"

"I don't know what's happening" she said truthfully "with all the thinking I've been doing for this long time, actually since Eyad went on this trip, I found myself comparing a lot between Eyad and Omar. I'm surprised with this discovery as much as you are. I never put our relationship in this category but it just happened, and I know it is complicated in every thinking way. But I do love him and I don't want to lose him again over my stupidity." She said the last sentence with a lowered tone. It felt like she was talking to herself rather than with her brother.

Adham couldn't find an advice to give his sister, he wanted her happy but he feared she was ruining everything by this sudden discovery.

"All I want to tell you is not to rush decisions out." He finally said.

As if he was talking to himself, Sarah stood with her phone in her hand. "I have to tell Eyad. See you." She smiled widely and went on her way to get ready for her big confession.

Adham shook his head disappointed. Being disappointed didn't prevent him from saying a quick prayer in his heart for the best to happen with his sister. He knew she was confused and maybe she was making a wrong decision but he would stand behind her every decision supporting her and correcting after her. She maybe older than him in age but still he was her brother and her man after she lost her father.

Sarah called Eyad saying she would pass by his house and didn't wait for any reply and went on her way to bring her car. She sat in front of his building breathing in and out waiting for him to come down and calming herself before telling him the L-word.

Eyad entered the car and she sent him a quick smile speeding off on the road. "How are you, Sarah?" Eyad said after a couple of minutes being in silence. It was weird to sit beside her where she was driving so quietly.

"I'm good. What about you?" She replied politely making it harder for him to analyze her sudden call asking to see him.

"I'm good too." He replied "you want to tell me something?" He asked cautiously gawking at her intensely.

"Hmm." She pulled off on a quiet side road and turned to look at him.

With her stopping the car and sitting sideways looking at him strangely, he was confused more. This means a serious talk. He thought to himself.

"So?" He asked again when she remained silent.

"Eyad, I love you." She said with a soft smile in her face as if it was every day talk. It didn't feel hard to tell Eyad anything even if it was this serious.

"What?" He asked surprised with a frown on his face.

"I love you." She confessed again.

"And it comes out of the blue like this?" He asked sarcastically.

"No, not out of the blue." She began "it's  from when I was jealous of Lydia, I found that I can't be with anyone except you and when I knew deep down I was lying when I told you to be only friends."

"You sure are lying because we agreed to be just friends and we won't hide our feelings from each other and tell each other everything like before."

"And here I'm telling you." She said with glossy eyes.

"You should have told me from the start. From the first moment you felt something towards me." He yelled angrily.

"There was a friend of mine, he told me he loved me and I didn't want to lead him on so I told him we can't. He, too, lied to himself and told me to be friends." She smiled "we are even now."

"And when his old prayers come true and you love him you think he will be ecstatic and tell you he still loves you and won't stop loving you, right?"

"It's not like that." She said quietly.

"Sure, it's not, Sarah, and it won't be like this ever" he shouted then continued quietly "you are my friend now and you won't be anything more than this. Think again and you will find that you were lying to yourself when you said you love me. You just want me to love you and be the miserable lover then tell me to be in that friendzone I always was in."

With tears threatening to fall she turned in her seat and got ready to drive again. She looked at him saying "I'm sorry, Eyad. You can pretend I haven't said anything."

"But you have." His words were cut by her phone ringing.

"Yes Adham" she answered.

"I found a broken window in the house, there must have been a thief there."

"What?" She asked surprised.

"Thank God you aren't harmed. Now come to my house till I finish everything up." He ordered softly to which she agreed and ended the call.

Everything was messed up, she felt a mixture of negative feelings consuming her. She was cut of her negative bubble with Eyad's worried voice..

"What's there?" He asked concerned.

"Nothing." She replied "please I want to be alone now."

"Sarah, tell me what has happened?"

"Please go now." She raised her voice a little but he didn't comply.

"I won't leave you alone." He said with a finality making her sigh and drive again with him sending her worried side looks. She looked totally distraught and he felt a sharp pain consuming his heart.
