I'll Protect You, Always

Chapter 3

Mina's POV

What was that? Why is Tzuyu behaving like this today? I don't get it. Tzuyu, why are you like this today?

I shook my head, getting the thoughts and questions out of my head. "Are you okay?" I asked Chan-oppa and he nod his head. Soon, the other girls arrived and saw me with a guy. They all looked at me with a smirk and i just told them seriously, "Don't get the wrong idea. He is just my friend. And he was pinned against the wall by Jeongyeon-oppa." 

"Why? How come?" Nayeon-unnie asked, worried and curious at the same time.

I just shrugged my shoulders and said, "I don't know. I just know that they are definitely on bad terms with him.". 

"They?" Jihyo-unnie asked, raising one of her eyebrows up with a questioning look. I told Chan-oppa to go ahead and he nod and walked off. 

Once he's out of my sight, i explained to them what happened in the classroom just now. They all went 'Oooo' with their mouth making an 'o' shape. 

"But why are they on the bad terms in the first place?" Nayeon-unnie asked me and i just shrugged my shoulders and told them that i don't know the reason. 

--NEXT DAY--

Tzuyu's POV

Argh, another day of school! When is the weekend gonna come?! I am getting enough of seeing that dirty face of that Chan Sung guy! 

I entered our classroom with Yujin and my 2 hyungs after biding our byes to Jeong-hyung. I saw Mina-noona talking happily with that guy again but oh well, guess it's time for my emotionless and cold self to resurface again.

Instead of sitting at my own seat, i sit beside Dahyung, Chae-hyung beside me and Yujin beside Chae-hyung. Well, i love to sit with my bros so why not sit together when we are in the same class. Too bad for Jeong-hyung who is not in the same class as us but even if he's in the same class, he can only sit either in front or behind us as only 4 students sit in a row. 

I decided to play around with those 2 in front of me and my bros played along with me, knowing that i'm playing around with them. 

"Oh my...do you know i saw a girl who seems to attract my eyes?" I said, pretending to recall a beautiful girl i met.

"Oooo~ Who is it~?" My bros asked in unison with a smirk on their faces. 

"If i'm not wrong, her name is Chaewon. Ah! She's Wonyoung's friend! I'm just 1 year older than her!" I said, making my voice louder a bit. 

"Well, let's hope someone wouldn't steal Chaewon away from you~" Chae-hyung said, referring to Chan Sung. 

"Yeah, i sure hope so~ I just hope that he wouldn't put his dirty hands onto my Chaewon or even use his dirty way of flirting with my Chaewon." I said, looking at Chan Sung, obviously referring to him. I found this so fun for some reason. 

"Haha, she's already yours?" Yujin said, chuckling.

"Yeah, soon to be mine. Then how about you, Yujin? Is Minju going to be yours soon or are you two a thing now?" I said to Yujin teasingly and Yujin blushed a little before saying out his sentence. 

"No, we're not a thing. We are just close friends. Right, hyungs?" Yujin said, making the conversation flow to Dahyung and Chae-hyung. The 2 of them just shrugged their shoulders teasingly and Yujin ended up hitting Chae-hyung on the shoulder and hitting Dahyung's head. 

My phone then vibrated, i took my phone out to receive a message from the 'Hyungs n Cousins' group chat' and i read the message. The message was from Yujin. It says, "We should not be using our crush's names as that guy might target our crush. So for now, use random names but not our friends' names!". We all replied "Ok" to the group chat. I kept my phone to see my bros doing the same and we all looked at each other and after awhile, we burst out laughing. 

"Yah! You guys! Be quiet!" Mina-noona turned around and shouted at us but we still continued laughing, ignoring Mina-noona. 

"Just forget about them, Mina." We all soon stopped laughing and couldn't believe our ears. What the hell?! Did he just call Mina-noona by her name without any honorifics?! 

I moved fast back to my seat without the 2 in front turning behind. "Wow! You are calling our noona just by her name! Are you two a thing now?" I said while my bros moved down so that they are sitting in my row. 

"W-What?! W-W-" He got cut off by me. "Look! You are even stuttering and blushing in front of your girlfriend! What a cute couple, man! Good job on getting a girlfriend like Mina-noona! I support your relationship, man!" I said, obviously what i said was fake but i made it sound real using my happy face and tone of voice. 

"YOU! PI-" He got cut off again but this time, he got cut off by Mina-noona.

"Tzuyu! Stop teasing him! We are not a couple at all!" Mina-noona shouted, annoyed which is cute. 

"Aww~ What a pity~ Looks like Mina-noona doesn't want you as your girlfriend!" I said followed by a laugh and my bros laughed along. 

Chan Sung then stood up furiously and grabbed me by the collar of my shirt. My bros stood up and pushed him away from me. "Tch, my shirt is now dirty thanks to your dirty hands. What a disgust!" I said with my eyes cold and annoyed tone. 

"Tch, you better watch out." He said towards my bros and i and sat back down on his seat. What a coward, don't even dare to fight me here in front of Mina-noona!

"Where are we going?" I heard Mina-noona asked that coward. Well, since it's after school, my bros and i went ahead of those 2 behind, not bothering to say bye to Mina-noona.

We met up with Jeong-hyung, who was waiting for us at the entrance of our school, and the girls except for Mina-noona, of course.

"Well, where is Minari?" Nayeon-noona asked us, looking behind us to see if Mina-noona is behind us. 

"She's not with us, noona. She went on a date with her boyfriend." I said and the girls and Jeong-hyung were seemed to be surprised. Then suddenly, the girls asked in unison about who is the guy. 

"Chill, noonas. It's from the same class as us. He sits with Mina-noona and both of them are close with one another too." I explained to them and they all look shocked like they couldn't believe what they just heard. 

Soon after, we heard familiar voices behind us. The girls looked shocked so we all looked behind us. Mina-noona and that coward talking happily with one another. 

Mina-noona saw us and waved at us with a happy smile as she walked pass by us. I don't bother waving back and so did my bros. The girls waved back at Mina-noona with a smirk on their faces. Well, i bet the girls who live in the same dorm as her will throw questions at her once Mina-noona arrive back at her dorm. The girls then turned back to us, guys and we all went to the shopping mall and it seems that we were heading the same way as those 2 who just walked pass us while Yujin, who has been with us, decided to go back to our dorm first. 

"Looks like Tzuyu is right about Minari having a boyfriend! Our cute penguin have finally grown up!" Nayeon-noona said, happiness can be seen on her face.
