I'll Protect You, Always

Chapter 30

Nayeon's POV

Lately, i have been seeing Sana and Tzuyu hanging out together after school and it's always the 2 of them alone! They also admit that they are on a date but they also said that they are not a couple which makes me confused...i mean couples go on a date...and how are you not a couple whereby you are going on a date with someone after school almost every single day...Yeah, that's right...Sana and Tzuyu are going on a date almost everyday and i just don't get them...they said they have fun with one another but they are not a couple... Or is it because of Tzuyu's answer to Sana's confession that makes them end up like this...? 

I also realized that Mina and the SaTzu don't talk to each other during our break-time. Mina will sometimes speak up but Sana and Tzuyu are always talking to us but mostly they talk to one another and we would always join in their conversation by teasing them. When we are at the dorm, Sana and Mina don't really talk to each other a lot. Sana talks to us but not Mina and Mina will talk to Jihyo and i since we're roommates and also Momoring since the 2 of them are close friends but at the same time, Momoring is also close friends with Sana. 

I'm back at my dorm with my fellow close friends aka dorm-mates. The guys aren't here with us as we didn't invite them over. Usually, we only invite the guys over only when we have a sleepover and the next day have no school. As tomorrow have school, we just let the guys go to their dorms and we go to our dorms, i mean, we will still see each other at school the next day.

I'm in my classroom with Jeong while Jihyo is still not here. Jihyo, Jeong and i are in the same class, the other 6 are in the same class in the different class than us but our classrooms are just beside each other. Jeong always wait for me at the school gate and we would always walk pass his brothers' classroom to see that his brothers have already arrived. According to Jeong, he walked to school with his brothers and he waited for me at the school gate while his brothers will go ahead of him. I mean, isn't he a good guy?! Willing to wait for me when he can talk to his brothers even longer?! Damn, he's a really good guy!

"Hey, did Tzuyu tell you anything about Mina or Sana?" I asked Jeong seriously, hoping that he would not take what i asked as a joke.

"Well, that...he didn't mention anything about Mina to us. Whenever we asked him about how was his date with Sana, he would always reply that he had fun or that Sana is a fun girl to hang out with. As for Mina, we rarely talk about Mina among us. Tzuyu didn't mention about Mina to us ever since Sana's confession, i guess?" Jeong replied in a serious manner and i'm glad that he took my question seriously, i mean he always would take something serious as a joke out of a sudden...

"Shouldn't we do something about Tzuyu and Mina...?" I asked with a questioning look to Jeong and he was looking at his phone, don't know what he's up to on his phone, and looked up at me.

"As for that, we should just not do anything. It's for the best. I'm sure Tzuyu would prefer that we do nothing about it." Jeong said sternly. 

"But why would Tzuyu prefer that...?" I asked again

"Didn't Tzuyu say that he's trying to give up on Mina?" Jeong asked back with another question instead of answering my question and i nodded my head

"Well, that's why we should not be doing anything so Tzuyu can completely give up on his feelings for Mina (mumbles something softly)." Jeong said and i couldn't hear what he said before ending his sentence as he said it softly.

"What did you say after Mina?" I asked, wanting to know what he said.

"It's nothing. I didn't say anything. Do you get it now?" Jeong said and i just nodded my head with a 'yeah' to him and he looked back to his phone again.

"But what if Mina fall in love with Tzuyu? What would Tzuyu do? He would not date her, right?" I asked 3 questions in a row to Jeong and he looked up at me.

"He did mention that he wouldn't date Mina even if Mina fall for Tzuyu. Like what Tzuyu said before, Mina doesn't deserve to be Tzuyu's girlfriend and i totally agree with him but it's his choice to whether date her or not. But i guess not." Jeong explained 

"Why? Is it because Mina fell for your enemy guy?" I asked again

"Yeah, obviously it's because of that guy and Mina was dumb to fall for him and not Tzuyu. Don't you agree?" Jeong said and i nodded my head in agreement. I have to agree, i mean their enemy is a bad guy but our Tzuyu here is a good guy and Mina was dumb to see that he's a bad guy while Tzuyu, being a good guy, trying to protect her away from someone who is bad.

Jeong then looked back at his phone and i looked out at the window, enjoying the morning scenery from my seat.

---BREAK-TIME---

Jihyo went ahead of us to the canteen along with Sana, Momo and Mina. Jeong and i, knowing that the 3 younger brothers will stay in the classroom, decided to drag them along with to the canteen again just like a few days ago. Jeong pulled one side of Dahyun's and Chaeng's ear while i just pulled Tzuyu's shoulder since i can't reach his ear. 

Why does Tzuyu always sit with his brothers and not Sana or Mina? Does the 3 of them know something? Surely, Jeong knew something 2 but he definitely won't tell me. I sometimes see Sana trying to get her way to sit beside Tzuyu when one of the brothers wanted to sit beside him but gave up and let Sana sit beside Tzuyu. 

"Tzu-ah, eat more~" Sana said and fed Tzuyu her food. Tzuyu just let her fed her without any complaints.

"Wow, you 2, stop flirting!" Jihyo said when she saw Sana feeding Tzuyu her food into his mouth and we all giggled-laughed at Jihyo's cute reaction.

"Are you 2 going on a date today after school again?" Chaeng asked while eating his food enjoyably. 

"Yes, we are!" Sana said energetically while Tzuyu nod his head without showing much emotions. 

Sigh...looks like they're going on a date again, huh...

Mina-ah, are you jealous or are you not? Are you used to Tzuyu not talking to you anymore? Are you just going to stay quiet and let Sana win his heart? Are you not going to do anything about your feelings, Mina-ah?
