1. The new guy

Chani P.O.V

My alarm wakes me up. Uh I hate mornings so much, but there's nothing I can do. I get up and do my every day morning routine. I dressed up and left my house. And like every other morning I have no choice but to see his house, it's been so many years but I still can't forget him. The thing I saw that day, i remember it clearly and it hurts, a lot. It will always stay in my heart like a thorn. Shit, my eyes are tearing up. I need to get myself together. Come on Chani be strong. I wipped my tears and went to school. Just when I got at the school gate, a friend Youngkyun shouted at me.

"Good morning Chani-ya"

"Good morning! What's up?" - i said lively like always

"Sadly nothing happens in my life. Me and my boring life, the perfect couple lol"

"I thought you and food were the perfect couple. I guess you cheated"

"Oh, right! Nothing can top my love for food, how could I forget that"

"Okay okay, enough talking. Let's go in!"

"Okay!"

Because I was too busy talking to Youngkyun and didn't look at my environment I bumped into this really tall dude, looks like he's new here. I apologized to him and bent down to pick up my things that fell when I felt someone grabbing my neck. It was the guy who I bumped into. When I looked at his face properly, he looks a lot like Seokwoo. That made my heart break a little. He just looked too similar.

"Watch where are you going!" - the guy said with a high tone and a cold look

Youngkyun tried to help me but the guy stopped him so he couldn't do anything.

"It's not a big deal so why are you getting mad" - I said with a fake smile. Also, I take my words back he's nothing like Seokwoo.

"Maybe, but I don't want anyone hitting me"

"Don't be like that bro. I apologized, just accept my apology. And put me down if it's possible"

"Okay, I will. Be careful next time" - he said sarcastically

"Hey, Chani, are you okay?" - Youngkyun ran to me

"I'm okay, I'm okay" - I smiled - "Let's go to the classroom"

"Okay then"

We went in the classroom and sat on our chairs. The bell rang. Everyone was expecting our math teacher because we had math but instead of him, our class teacher showed up together with the tall guy.

"Good morning kids. We will have a new student" - the teacher said - "Please introduce yourself"

"Kim Rowoon" - the tall guy said

"Is that all?"

The guy didn't say anything but just nodded and sat at the chair that was free, and that chair was exactly behind me. I turned back to say hi and introduce myself but he didn't react much, he didn't even care.

"You're the guy from before" - he said unexpectedly

"Ah, yeah..."

"I see"

Damnnn, he looks like him so much. But it's impossible. He can't be alive. Even so, I don't think I can look at this guy without getting reminded of Seokwoo. It hurts me a lot when I see him.

The bell rang, it's time for a break. Youngkyun came to me and asked me if I wanted to go and eat with him at the rooftop. I agreed, after all that was a good idea, I needed fresh air and time to think about various things. I looked back and Rowoon who was still sitting there, he was in deep thoughts. I wanted to call him but I don't think I will be fine if he comes so I left with Youngkyun without saying anything.
