2. Unexpected

Chani P.O.V

It's Saturday. Youngkyun invited me to go with him at some coffee shop and I agreed because I was bored and I didn't have anything smarter to do so, yeah.... I told my mom that I'm going out and left. It was sunny outside, nice. Everything was nice but seeing Seokwoo's house made me a little sad. I wished that it disappears so I don't have to be reminded every day of him and that accident. Get yourself together Chani, you will be late. Youngkyun is waiting for me.
I met him, and he brought me to one small coffee shop with a nice atmosphere. Nice, in the end it wasn't a bad idea.

"Do you like this place? I knew that you don't like loud places so I brought you here" - Youngkyun said

"You are right. When did you become so smart?"

"I wasn't smart before?"

"Oh, you didn't know?" - I sticked out my tongue

"You-. Aish!"

Hehe, I enjoy teasing him. It was silent few seconds then he broke the silence.

"Um, can I ask you something?"

"Yeah! You can."

"Why does your expression change everytime you see the new guy, Rowoon?

There he goes, hitting right in the spot where it hurts.

"What do you mean?" - I pretended I didn't understand

"Don't be like that! When you see him, you go from a bright face to a bitter one! And then you try to snap out of you so you give a fake smile. The others might not see it but I can, I'm your best friend , I know everything about you."

"How did you-"

"Speak!"

"Rowoon, he, he reminds me a lot of Seokwoo"

"Chani, don't you think you already need to let go of the past and live your life?"

"Don't you think I'm trying? I'm trying really hard but I can't. I can't forget what happened. It's hard for me, please understand.."

"I'm sorry.. Do that when you think your capable of doing so. You know that the best."

A boy who was handing out flyers interrupted us.

"I'm sorry for interrupting but could you please take a look? Today there is a boxing match. You have other information here, on the flyer. I would really appreciate if you came!" - he said

"I'm sorr-" - Youngkyun interrupted me

"Okay!!! We will be there! Can I ask what's your name?"

"Taeyang"

"I'm Youngkyun! Nice to meet you! Are you fighting too?"

"Ah, no, I'm not."

"Is that so"

"I'm very sorry but I have to go now. See you later!"

"Okay! Bye!"

"Yah! Are you crazy? What? Boxing?" - I yelled at Youngkyun

"Please don't yell! Chani, please let's go!!!! It will be interesting!

"Nah! Mom will kill me"

"You won't tell her that you're going to a boxing match. You'll say that you're coming at my house."

"But-"

"Chani please! Please please please!!!"

"Okay okay! Just don't cry"

I had no choice but to accept it. Boxing... It's not something I'm interested in... But I guess it's not that bad going to a boxing match at least once. Me and Youngkyun agreed to meet at 7pm and parted ways. When I arrived home, I quickly jumped in my bed. I was too tired. Not knowingly I fell asleep somehow.

*Chani's phone rings"

"Chani!!! Where are you? Don't tell me you forgot that we were supposed to meet?!" - Youngkyun shouted at me

Sh*t, I fell asleep. How could I...

"Hey, wait for me. I just need to get dressed and that's all."

"Okay, but please hurry up. We'll be late"

"Okay, okay!"

I dressed up as fast as I can, I told my mom that I'm going to Youngkyun's house and left.

"You're finally here!"

"Don't nag me! Let's just go!"

"I'm the one that should be saying that!"

"I said let's go"

"Okay"

We arrived at the place. There were so many people. Wow. I didn't know this much people liked boxing.

"Amazing!!" - Youngkyun said as he was jumping from joy

Ah, he's like a kid, i don't understand what's so special about this. But even so, I was happy seeing him being happy.

The match started and the opponents came out. The first one was a fatty, he was in his thirties I suppose, and the other one.... The other one was....

"Oh my god! Chani, look! That's Rowoon!" - Youngkyun said
