Season 2 chapter 29

*start playing music*
It was such a dark room...

"You shouldn't love."

Why not...?

"Can't I love you Mother?"

Those cold eyes never showed emotion. Yet I couldn't question her.

Why...?

"No you can't." My mother said softly.

I always thought that was her way of loving someone.

"So...do you love me?"

She stayed still and furrowed her brows...her eyes widened with rage.

"Yes...I do."
She said painfully stiff as if her affection towards me was a burden....

I didn't know it then....but I it was a burden

It made her weak and pathetic.

*stop music*

"Uchiha Akane! Where is your assignment?" The teacher looked at the smiling red head.

"I forgot to bring it today." Akane answered not feeling guilty.

Shino Looked at the girl disappointed. He scoffed.
"Did you maybe leave your brain at home too?"
The kids laughed at the teachers statement.

Akane giggled as well.
"That's physically impossible sir..."
Shino looked let down with her response. He sighed.

"I'm going to have to talk to your parents after lessons."

Sarada listened to the ordeal and scoffed. She just didn't understand why Akane didn't do the homework....It was the easiest assignment that Shino sansei has ever given.
She looked at her assignment before handing it out to the teacher.

"Family heritage."

This girl just likes burdening the family doesn't she?

Sarada's eyes trailed towards a certain blonde haired boy. The change of color on her cheeks were visible. She felt as if she was being stared at but Sarada didn't need to guess who it was...it was obviously her "sister."

"Sakura are you heading out?"
Sasuke asked his wife while he ate some dinner.

"I got a call from school...looks like Akane got into trouble today."
Sakura explains.

"Is it something urgent?" Sasuke asked out of concern.

"I don't think it is."
Sakura left closing the door behind her.
Sasuke sighed and continued eating.

Boruto and his friends had started ghost hunting again.Sarada was alone today her friend Chocho was sick.

Akane waved a goodbye to her 'friends'.
Sarada just ignored her and kept walking.
"Sarada!" The red head shouted enthusiastically.
The black haired girl simply ignored her.
Sarada heard rapid footsteps from behind her.
A hand fell on her shoulder.
"Didn't you hear me I told you to wait for me."
Akane said a bit annoyed.
"Well I didn't want to wait for you." Sarada snapped back.
Akane giggled but this time her laugh seemed light hearted.

"Dont  worry I won't do anything... I'm sorry for how bad I acted towards you."
The red head apologized.
"Ok"
Sarada answers plainly rolling her eyes. She wouldn't fall for this trick.
Akane still walked beside her.
And for a long time there was silence. Until Akane cut the ice.
"You know I kinda feel bad for you...it must be hard adjusting your life especially now that you unexpectedly have a sister...your parents don't have much time to give you attention..and now they have to give me attention as well..."

Sarada didn't want to admit it but it's like the girl broke down a wall.

"Yeah..." Sarada just nodded.

"You know...I was kinda in the same space you were...I thought that dad and mom would love you more...so I did all these bad things."
Akane laughed...
"Pretty stupid I know..."
Akane smiled lightly.
Sarada looked confused.
"Why would you think that?"
Akane smiled.
"It's obvious isn't it... my mother died and yours is alive...Your Sakuras biological daughter and our dad also trusts you more then me."
Sarada looked shocked for a moment...
Could it be that this girl was as scared as she was.
They both scared each other?
Would Sarada give her another chance?
She would.

That would maybe be the biggest mistake she would ever make...
