Tea Time

Chapter 1

Ned's POV
I walk out of the school with Peter and tell him I'll see him later. He has no idea where I go every Friday and I'd like to keep it that way. That's our secret.

I get to the coffee house and order two coffees, one with just sugar and one with sugar, creamer, and caramel flavoring. I walk over to a table and sit down. I set the Caramel coffee in front of the empty seat.

A few moments later I hear a voice, "sorry I'm late Ned. Tony kept asking me questions about where I go every Friday." War Machine said as he took the seat across from me. "No problem Rhodey! I had the same problem with Peter last week. So what did your idiot do this week?" I asked as he took a sip of his coffee. "Well, he was doing an experiment in the lab and he was about to set some methane on fire, so I told FRIDAY to inform Pepper. But she wasn't in the building, so I asked for Happy, but he had left to get Peter already. So I had to stop him myself and you know how that usually goes. So needless to say Tony hasn't been allowed in the lab since Tuesday, and probably won't be able to go back in for a while." Rhodey said looking amused as if he was still there in that moment. "What about you? Got any embarrassing stories about my favorite Spiderson?" He asked, I flashed an evil grin and told him to get comfortable and to not have any coffee in his mouth or in his hands.

"It was Monday, Peter had just gotten done with patrol but instead of going back to his apartment or to the tower, he came to my house. He jumped in through my window and as soon as he was in he took his mask off like he always does but, I forgot to tell him I was studying with MJ." I said pausing for a moment to see his response, he hasn't heard the best part yet and he's already laughing. "So MJ was pissed that we hadn't told her, so Peter's just sitting on my bed while MJ yells at him about not telling her sooner and asking if he was going to tell her at all. So at this point Peter's face is completely red and he's just stuttering every word he says, he could barely form a sentence!" I say, Rhodey couldn't hold back his laughter any longer, so the two of sat there laughing for a few minutes before finally calming down.

"So tell me more about what Tony did this week." I say, he gives me a smile and any one who ever said that Rhodey didn't have an evil grin was dead wrong.

Rhodey's POV
I thought for a moment trying to remember something that would top Peter's disaster. "Oh, you'll love this." I say with an evil grin, Ned leans closer so that he can hear me better.

"It was Wednesday at about noon, Tony was supposed to be at a meeting that Pepper had told him to go to. But instead me and him snuck away from the tower, we went to Asgard with Thor and you should've seen Tony's face when we got there. It was a mixture of fear, awe, and surprise." I said looking at Ned to make sure he was still listening. "So Tony was running around in some field for a while, when Thor taps me on the shoulder and puts a finger to his lips telling me to be very quiet. Out of nowhere Loki appears behind Tony, he taps Tony on the shoulder and I've never seen Tony turn that fast before. He looked up at the good of mischief in fear and he took off running faster than you could say Stark Industries is on fire. In the meantime Thor and I were just watching as Loki terrorised Tony, it was hilarious. When he finally lost Loki, he came over to us, we were not helpful in his escape because we were too busy laughing and rolling on the ground to hide him. Loki came back and began terrorising him again. So three hours later, we get back to the tower and Tony's screaming at Thor to never take him back to Asgard and to never bring Loki here or he's banned from Earth forever." I say as Ned bursts out laughing, "can he actually ban Thor?" Ned asks as he takes a sip of his coffee to calm himself down a little, it didn't work he just exploded into another fit of laughter. "Technically, no. But if he does either of those then he's banned from the tower and the compound. So he might as well be banned from Earth." I said.

"now do you have any more stories of Peter from this week?" I asked as the door opened, we both stopped talking at once and stared at Tony and Peter. "What's going on here?" Peter asks, we ignore him and continue staring at the two. "Peter asked a question, and I would like to know the answer. What is going on here?" Tony asks, I look at Ned and we both burst out laughing, much to the confusion of Irondad and Spiderson.
