"this cannot be fucking happening again!" sierra screamed as the car swerved all over the road.

the alien bashed it's head on the windshield, erupting more screams from the group. all the swerving and turning was not doing good for the kids in the back.

terrified, sierra jumped into gabriel's lap, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"we're gonna die, we're gonna die!" she yelled into his neck. his eyes widened.

"shit, this is not the time!" he exclaimed, leaning his head back. he bit his lip, "sierra, you have to get off my lap!" he yelled. that was the absolute worst time for his teenage hormones to kick in.

"why!?" she yelled.

"because you're moving too much!"

before she could protest again, she was interrupted by a claw coming straight down at them from the roof. sierra screamed her lungs out as it waved its claw around, trying to grab ahold of someone. gabriel wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer out of complete fear.

"hang on!" zhen yelled. she made a sharp turn before running straight into a bus stop. the alien luckily tumbled off of the car.

everyone looked up in fear to see that they were finally at peace again. gabriel let out a sigh of relief, hugging sierra tighter.

that didn't last long until the back windshield completely shattered, once again showing the face of the alien.

it banged its claws against the car repeatedly as they drove onto the bridge.

after doing some deep thinking for about six seconds, zhenzhen came up with a quick, but painful solution.

"jump!" she yelled, opening the door.

"what? are you crazy?!" gabriel yelled back with a voice crack. before say anything else, sierra had already opened the door and jumped out of his lap, onto the pavement.

just as everyone else jumped out, the car kept going, breaking the gate and plummeting into the ditch, along with the alien.

gabriel quickly collected himself and looked over to see sierra holding her arm in pain. when she jumped, she ending up landing straight on it.

"shit, sierra!" he stood up and ran over, helping her stand up. "are you okay? is everyone okay?" he asked the group.

she nodded. "i think it's just a small sprain." she turned around and ran over to the edge of the bridge where everyone else was gawking at the car that was now completely wrecked.

"guys! i don't have the key!" alex panicked, running up to them.

"what!?"

"it's probably in the car!" he told them. everyone let out a heavy sigh.

it was almost like they couldn't do anything without an obstacle being thrown at them. sierra was so close to giving up and walking away, but she tried as hard as she could to keep her cool.

"damn it. damnit, damnit!" dariush muttered. he began walking, but alex stopped him.

"where are you going?"
