The next day: Sunday morning
Keith was glad he had one more night of peace and quiet before his new mystery roomie shows up
He knew it was going to be a guy because girls weren't allowed to room with the opposite of gender and because of this he was anxious and tempted to take down his small pride flag above his bed
But instead he shook his head and prayed they weren't homophobic like a few other assholes in this school

A few hours later there was a knock at the door and Keith slowly took out his earbuds hoping he was hearing things and his roommate wasn't here yet
But sure enough he heard pidge and a voice he didn't recognize on the other side of the door
Then pidge yelled somthing That made his face go red
"You watching porn or something keef? Open the damn door!"
He internally screamed and ran to the door swinging it open
"Listen here pigeon, I'll have you know I was listening to, as you say it 'emo music' and 'sulking in my own self pity and anxiety' so shut the fuck up"
Pidge just giggled and Keith fought back a smile before they both broke into a fit of laughter at his new roommates face
It was a mixture of blushing smiling and confused and it was hilarious
"Anyways I'm helping this dork" they motion to the boy behind them "move boxes in here so move your ass outta the way or imma beat it"
"Kinky" the boy said causing everyone to laugh as they moved the boxes into the room and closed the door
While pidge was helping the mystery boy set up his things Keith went back to his desk and put in a single earbud as he sketched the new boy and pidge in his book
When he heard the door close that's when he was brought back to reality
He took out his earbud and turned in his chair "so I'm keith who the hell are you"
"Heh, I'm lance hermoso"
"Spanish?"
"Sí, eres muy inteligente"
(Yes, your very smart)
"I know a bit of the basics and a bunch of curses"

"Oh~ eres inteligente entonces"
(Oh~ you are smart then)
"vete a la mierda y termina"
(Slightly broken grammar: Fuck off and finish)
"Alright then hermoso"
As he was putting up posters on his side of the room Keith realized somthing
"Wait.." lance stopped and turned to the confused boy "yes?"
"You don't care about the flag?" He said motioning to one of the gayest things he's ever bought
(besides his black knee high slightly heeled boots and makeup but we don't talk about that)
"Nah I don't have any right to judge"
And then he pulled out the last thing he had to hang up
