Zayn's Pov:
"Zayn what the hell are you thinking?" Liam yelled at me the moment Niall left. I couldn't speak, I felt lonely and empty like apart of my life was gone. Niall he's my reason to live now, He's what keeps me here. "Zayn!" Liam said a little louder snapping me from my thoughts, I looked at him with fear filled eyes.
"I did what I had to do" I replied. Liam looked at me confusion filling his eyes.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"We have no idea if they know about him Li, If they find out they will come here, They will come after Niall, I can't bare that" I explained. Liam sighed.
"Zayn we both know that day is coming, They will find out about him Zayn you know this" Liam reminded me. I sighed.
"I know Li, But not today, I want to keep him a secret from them as long as I can, I want to keep him pure for as long as possible" I informed him. Liam placed a hand on my shoulder.
"You can't run from this Zi, You know the day will come where Niall will be changed" I groaned before yelling.
"I know Liam! I know that every fucking day! But it's not going to happen yet! I won't let it, Just help me find out if they know Li, Please" I begged him. Liam sighed before nodding his head. We then both took off into the woods searching for the answers we needed. The whole time Niall never left my mind. What if something happens to him and I'm not there? What if they already know about him and they've gone after him? I sighed as I collapsed down near a tree. Liam was at my side in seconds.
"Zi, What's wrong?" He asked as he crouched down beside me.
"What have I done Li? What kind of danger have I put him in" I exclaimed. Liam sighed before shaking his head.
"Zayn don't do this to yourself, Don't blame yourself, You had to protect Niall, If things were turned around Niall would have done the exact same thing as you. If they had Niall we would know Zayn" Liam assured me. I nodded my head before standing up. The sooner I found out what was going on the sooner I could get back to Niall. Harry and Louis better be looking after him!
Niall's Pov:
I couldn't understand it, Why did Zayn just send me away like that? Why couldn't I just stay with him, He can keep me safe I know he can, So why is he doubting himself so much? I sighed as I leaned back in the car seat.
"You ok Niall?" Harry asked.
"Yeah, Just erm travel sick" I lied, Harry nodded his head.
"Were not far we will be there soon" He said. I nodded. I know it wasn't right of me to lie, But I didn't know what else to say. I was still nervous about being around Louis, He hated my guts yet Zayn was trusting him to protect me, What changed his mind so fast? Before I knew it we were at some abandoned cottage. I took in the view it was beautiful, Looked as though it hadn't been used in years.. But none the less absolutely beautiful. The car opened quickly, I looked up to see Harry smiling extending a hand to me. I smiled before taking it and getting out the car. I was then rushed inside and the door was locked behind us. I sighed before sitting down on the empty couch.
"You miss him?" Harry asked as he sat opposite me. I nodded my head.
"Why did he send me away Harry? I thought he loved me" I said allowing tears to fall down my face.
"He does love you Niall. That's why he's done this. He's doing it for your own safety. Chris and Peter there nothing compared to what Zayn will be up against if they find out about you" Harry explained. I sighed as I lowered my head. Harry sat down beside me before gently rubbing my back.
"Does it hurt? The change?" I asked.
"Yes" Harry replied. I bit my lip. "Niall I need to go and get you some food for the next few days, Louis here if you need him, I won't be long" Harry informed me. I nodded as he left the room. I needed to talk to Louis. I needed to find out why he hated me so much. Now would be the perfect time. I sighed before making my way upstairs. I found Louis in one of the bedrooms.
"Louis?" I said. Louis looked up.
"What?" He asked bitterness filling his voice.
"Can we talk?" I asked. Louis rolled his eyes before nodding. I made my way into the room before sitting down.
"Why don't you like me?" I asked getting straight to the point, Louis eyes widened.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"I mean why don't you like me, You seem to hate me but you know nothing about me" I said. Louis sighed.
"I don't hate you" Louis replied.
"Then why are you so cold with me?" I asked. Louis sighed.
"Niall I was changed against my will, It wasn't what I wanted, I had my life snatched away from me, I never wanted this life, If I had a choice I wouldn't be the way I am, Then Harry came into my life, Nothing mattered to me apart from the love he was giving. Then news of the prophecy reached my ears, I think it's cruel, Taking an innocent humans life away for the satisfaction of our world. Your so willing to throw your life away Niall, I don't understand why you would want to live this life? You have a choice but your choosing a life of exile away from your family, Your loved ones, You will never see them again Niall, Why, Why would you want that?" Louis asked. I sighed.
"For love, Louis love is about sacrifice I never knew that until Zayn came into my life, The way you love Harry is the way I love Zayn, You would do anything to keep Harry safe and you love him with everything you have, I love Zayn the same way and I would do anything to keep him safe" I explained.
"I'm so sorry Niall" Louis exclaimed before pulling me into a hug. I sighed as I hugged him back, There was more to Louis then meets the eye. He knew the love and sacrifice between vampires, But not through humans.
"I will protect you Niall" Louis whispered as Harry entered the room.
"I never thought I'd see this" He said. I chuckled as I looked up from Louis shoulder.
"He's family, We protect our family" Louis said as he smiled at me. I returned it before we hugged once again.
