The following are the communications between Halk and Frine in a great battle against the Biomass on Phrugosphere. Halk took charge of ground command and Frine took charge of space command. Their dialogue will be differentiated by the first letter of their name.

Date: 3 eons, 14,160 eras, 13 elapses, and 1,614 time units

H: We're in position. Go ahead and begin.

F: Yes, ma'am. SPIRE fleet is in position. Firing now on Lat94.938/Lon351.773.

H: Blast confirmed, behaving as expected. Continue.

F: Okay. Firing now on Lat155.771/Lon60.170, Lat 161.545/Lon96.091, Lat60.033/Lon13.719, Lat5.350/Lon64.544, Lat97.211/Lon35.634, Lat135.463/Lon216.229, Lat110.652/Lon74.112, Lat144.610/Lon91.250, Lat 23.47/223.587, Lat139.091/Lon242.582.

H: All blasts confirmed. Notify me when heat dissipation is sufficient to advance.

F: Halk, you should see it from up here. It's terrible. I can imagine this kind of damage not changing the climate for at least a few years.

H: It will be worth it, Frine, if we get rid of the Biomass.

F: And it won't matter if we don't.

H: True enough. But make sure you use the private channel when discussing the possibility of failure. We need every bit of morale we can get. Victory is already a long-shot, and it will be that much less likely if our warriors let doubt take a hold of them.

F: Indeed.

H: How long until dissipation?

F: Another time unit at least.

H: Update?

F: Heat is sufficiently dissipated. Go ahead and send in the drones.

H: Drones are moving in. Aerial forces will plot out good spots for space-to-ground attacks.

F: Roger that. I have the fleets targeting likely hot spots. The atmosphere is still to cloudy to target the areas peripheral to SPIRE blasts.

H: Remember that place where we went on vacation two orbits after meeting each other? There is a giant writhing mass of acid spewing tentacles there now. Please send a space-to-ground attack.

F: Seriously? There were so many great historical landmarks there. That was when I really started to appreciate the heart of all Phrug cultures. Ah, well. Weapons deployed.

H: Those aren't going to be the only important places we destroy today. We already destroyed the ancient city of Cyche and the great forest of Flur with the SPIREs.

F: Make an old general cry, why not. How I hate the Biomass.

H: We also need some space support at Lat57.539/Lon269.430, Lat56.460/Lon241.21, Lat114.435/Lon274.340, and Lat12.707/Lon278.697. I'll send more specific coordinates via data packet.

F: Working on it. Make sure to get your air units out of Lat114.435/Lon274.340 within 10 centitimes.

H: Will do.

F: One of my pilots noticed that Red Thunder mountain is completely infected. It's a must be a mutated strain, because the mountain is still red, which is why we didn't notice at first. But the texture was visibly different from space. Permission to use a small SPIRE blast?

H: Permission granted. Shame. That's where my mother's mother grew up. And now the whole mountain will be vaporized.

F: How goes the ground battle? Are losses as expected?
