There is no kill counter. You seem confused, but I know what is going on. Ready yourself for the fight of your life.
We enter New Home. My home. But I don't care. This world must be destroyed, this timeline purged. It is the only way. That's what you're doing, isn't it?
As we walk through New Home, Asriel in his flower form tells us all about how he became a murderer.
He seems scared of us; of me. He recognizes that I will kill him.
You seem to resonate with him. But you and Asriel are not alike. Asriel tried everything and was bored into killing. You, you jumped headfirst into murder.
But of course, it is you who set me on my path to purging this world. We will be partners, you and I.
You go into my and Asriel's room. You open the presents. You pick up the knife, the true knife.
About time.
Then you put the heart-shaped locket around your neck.
Right where it belongs.
Then, we arrive at the Last Corridor. Sans is there. My blood runs cold, or it would if I had any myself. I make sure I have the right consumables and then SAVE.
Sans studies me. "Heya." Sans shifts slightly. "You've been busy, huh?" He pauses. "So, I've got a question for ya. Do you think even the worst person can change...? That everyone can be a good person if they just try?"
He is trying to make me feel guilty about killing Papyrus. With a glint in my eye, I smile back at him.
He looks me in the eye. "Heh heh heh heh... All right." His eyes get a steely look to them. "Well, here's a better question. Do you wanna have a bad time?"
I step forward. I will annihilate him.
"'Cause if you take another step forward... you are REALLY not going to like what happens next."
I step forward again. I am not afraid. I am not afraid. I am not afraid.
He chuckles. "Welp. Sorry, old lady. This is why I never make promises." He initiates a battle. "It's a beautiful day outside. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming... on days like these, kids like you..." He attacks. It's incredibly strong. I am down to 1 hp. "SHOULD BE BURNING IN HELL."
I pant, still determined.
"Huh. Always wondered why people never use their strongest attack first." I shrug.
Bring it on, Sans.
The next hit kills me instantly, and I see 'Chara! You have to stay determined!"
Don't worry, father. I will.
I walk from the save point. "Heya." Sans says. "You look frustrated about something." He grins. "Guess i'm pretty good at my job, huh?"
He starts the fight. I manage to dodge his first attack. "Ready?" He asks. You attack him, and he slides to the side, grinning. "What, you think I'm just gonna stand here and take it?"
Ah. This fight will be different. Are you satisfied yet? Is this hard enough for you? Have your fun now, because soon you will not have anyone to play with anymore.
Sans attacks again, and I cannot dodge as well. I do wish it were switched, with you defending and me attacking.
I would be so much better at attacking with the knife we hold.
Anyway, you attack Sans. Again he dodges. "Our reports showed a massive anomaly in the time-space continuum. Timelines jumping left and right, stopping and starting..." Ah. This is why I was afraid of Sans. And at the next attack he proves me right, killing me.
