The young alpha's hands were getting clammy as he continued to look at his mate's confused expression. He was not used to feeling like this, he was a very confident person, even as a child he made his presence known thanks to his demanding attitude and personality. He was never a person to back down, but at this particular moment, in front of his future, his everything, he wanted nothing more than to run away and never come back. Although, he was sick of feeling vulnerable and wanted to make his mate his stregnth.

"Um, alright, let me just grab my coat." Came the soothing voice of Dox.

Cato watched as he went back inside the house and came back with a dark blue denim jacket surrounding his petite frame. He kept looking at Dox for a hot minute, studying his features, until he realised he was staring when he saw Dox's eyebrows furrowing. He shook his head and said, "C'mon."

"Mind telling me what this is about? Is anything wrong?" Asked Dox.

"No, no, nothing is wrong... well there is something wrong but I won't necessarily call it wrong, I mean, it's not wrong... no one thinks it is wrong, but it's all new to me and at first I thought it was weird but then I realised it wasn't-"

"You're rambling love." Dox chuckled but then widened his eyes, realising he called him love. He bit his tongue in silent reprimand.

At his words Cato's cheeks went a little pink but it was fairly unnoticeable. "You are going to need a seat for this so let's walk to the nearest park first... actually on second thought, lets go to my house? If that's okay with you?"  Asked Cato. It would be more safer from lingering ears, he thought.

"That's fine with me, but are you okay? Why are you even speaking to me? We are not really friends..." Voiced Dox, he was perplexed about this odd behaviour coming from his friend's cousin.

" I'm okay... I think... but I really need to speak to you about something very important, it would be very wrong of me to keep you in the dark about such a thing." Said Cato. This made Dox even more curious than he already was, he nodded nevertheless and followed Cato to his mansion.

When they reached the house, Cato was a nervous mess, he couldn't fuck this up, he had to explain everything very clearly to his mate and get him to understand how grave this matter was. This was both their lives in consideration here, this could make or break the two of them.

Cato sat down on the grass so Dox followed his action and sat down too.

"I am so sorry to spring this up on you like this, but you have the right to know and the right to make a choice."

Dox frowned but gave an encouraging nod to Cato, he was really curious and it wouldn't take an idiot to tell that Cato was nervous judging by his body language.

Cato let out a breath and began.

"Do you know anything about supernatural creatures?" Inquired Cato.

"Well, yeah I have watched the twilight series..." He blushed because of his admittance.

Cato smiled at his adorable mate lovingly, his dimple on full show.

"Don't run away after I say this, promise me." Said Cato, to which Dox bit his bottom lip and then releasing the plump flesh, the action causing Cato's body to go hot.

A simple fucking lip bite and Cato was a goner, what was happening to him?

"Okay. I promise." He said.

Here we go, thought Cato.

"Werewolves do exist, we live like normal people but we stay in packs. I do not know anything about Vampires and Ghosts but Werewolves are real and I can show you if you let me."

Dox's pupils were wide and he scooted backwards, unsure. "What do you mean we?" Asked Dox.

Cato gulped. "I... I am a werewolf. I am the Alpha's son, the next in line for command." Revealed Cato.

Dox's breathing became laboured. " Does that... Does that mean that Novah...?"

"Yes, he is a werewolf as well and he will be my future beta."

"Don't lie to me!" cried Dox.

At that, Cato ran behind a tree to remove his clothes and turned into his majestic beast, his extraordinary pelt was one to be reckoned with. He was a pure white 5 foot tall wolf with a pink nose and sharp looking teeth, but all he did was whine and sit down obediently, his ears flat against his head, not wanting to scare off his mate.

Dox was quick to get up and move backwards, his eyes were widened in shock and underlying wonder. Before he got the chance to run, Cato turned back into a human.

Almost instantly, Dox blushed down to his core, the boy before him was very much naked and he was certainly not ashamed. Hell, there was nothing to be ashamed of in the first place but before something embarrassing happened... down there, Dox turned around, the image still burning in his memory.

Cato came before him a second later and Dox pinkened all over again, he was clothed this time but Cato being in such close proximity to him after that whole incident was reason enough to blush in Dox's books.

"The reason why I told you all of this is because... is because you are my mate."

Now, Dox had read enough books and watched enough movies to know what this meant and with it came the overwhelming need to pass out.

So he did just that, he went limp and his glimmering eyes shut as he fell into the strong and able arms of his mate.
