{Jake's POV}
I don't know what Albert meant. He stopped responding to me, so I just kinda blew up his phone. "He's gonna be mad." I laughed at my phone, seeing all the stupid messages I sent to Albert. I went downstairs to go get breakfast, seeing Ally already at the table drinking warm milk. I went up behind her, she didn't notice me, and said "Boo!" really loud and scared her.
"HH JAKE NOO" she laughed. Milk came out of her nose, I'm assuming it didn't feel good cause she stopped laughing. But she laughed even harder after, making me laugh as well. I loved seeing her face. When we were done laughing, her face went completely serious. "Jake, I know we've had some good times." I looked at her confused wiping a tear from my eye after laughing so hard. "But I don't think this relationship is enough for me." She said. She's.. She's breaking up with me! I stared at her wide eyed. "No no no! It's not that way, I just want more from a relationship! I still wanna be your friend, just not your girlfriend." I felt suddenly relaxed. I had been feeling the same way. "Oh jeez Ally, it's ok! I felt the same way. I'll let you stay here at my place until you find a new place to live." "Thanks Jake!" She smiled at me
She started calling some friends to see if they had any available rooms. Some said yes, some said no. Jessica, one of Ally's best friends, had said she had a extra room and wouldn't mind if she stayed with her if they split the rent. Jake spent the rest of the day helping his mutual ex girlfriend pack her bags. They said their goodbyes and had one, final kiss.
{Time skip and Third person POV}
Jake was sitting on the couch waiting for some food to arrive at his door. Then he heard a knock. The food came earlier than I thought it would! Cool! He opened the door to see something better than his food.
It was his best friend. "Albert!" He yelled. He practically leaped onto the poor guy, making him stumble backwards as he tried to manage the older males' tight embrace. "J-Jake get off, I can't breathe like this!!" He yelped into Jakes shirt. He let go. "Oh shoot, sorry dude, didn't mean to do that—" He paused and gasped. "This was the surprise wasn't it!!" He looked down at his best friend he's known for.. How long now? Albert had an adorable smile plastered on his face. "You gonna let me in?" He stared at his best friend.They laughed as Jake realized his house was a mess. "Shoot, I didn't clean up.. Ah, sorry dude, my house is a mess." Albert didn't mind, his was too. They laughed at the tv, watching different shows every now and then. After getting bored and not being able to find any more shows, they ended up in a cuddling position. Albert being small, was on his phone, curled up on Jakes stomach, while Jake himself was scrolling through Twitter, softly stroking Albert's hair. Without knowing it, they accepted the fact that they would stay like this for a while. Albert felt really happy. He always felt happy with Jake around. When he was talking to Jake, when he was thinking about Jake, just Jake in general made him so much happier than he was.
He didn't wanna admit it, but he likes Jake. He likes him a lot. And that's ok, right? Being gay isn't bad or anything. But he couldn't let Jake know. Albert started to feel drowsy. He turned of his phone and fell asleep on Jakes chest. Jake only noticed when he asked if he wanted to go to sleep. He felt a weight on his chest, but just thought it was his imagination or something. He felt warmth spread through his body as he watched Albert sleep peacefully. Jake didn't know this was how Albert's "vacation" would be, nor did he know it would be with him. All he knew, was he was happy.
