{Third person POV}        AUTHORS NOTE: There's going to be a bit of language, just two words

Jake and Albert got hungry, despite Albert not actually being hungry, and decided they should go to a nearby restaurant serving breakfast. "So where are we going?" Asked Albert. "Dunno yet. Probably the closest one." Jake turned onto some sketchy street, Albert noticed there was tons of graffiti in the area. "Hey Jake, is this some kind of shortcut?" "Yeah, why?" He asked. "It just looks kinda sketchy, I don't know if we should be going down this street-" "Don't worry, it's abandoned. It's been like this for a while, so careless people come here to graffiti the walls."

Albert saw a guy in a red and black hoodie, graffitiing one of the walls. He noticed it spelled out "CUNT" in big, bubble font. Albert laughed a bit at it, Jake wondering why, since he couldn't take his eyes off the road so he couldn't see it. "Someone wrote 'CUNT' on the wall" he laughed. Jake smirked and let out a small giggle. He didn't really find it that funny, but he knew why Albert would find it so. They continued their drive to somewhere they could have breakfast. Jake knew Albert likes pancakes, so he decided to go to Waffle House. Despite their name, they also sold pancakes.

Jake pulled up to the Waffle House, turning off the car and getting out, Albert just getting out. "Waffle House, huh? You know me too well, Jake." He nudged him. Jake laughed. "Yeah, I guess." They walked into the Waffle House, pretending they were just friend or roommates trying to get away from life or school. Albert ordered a blueberry strawberry pancake mix. Jake ordered just plain pancakes, though. "Wow I didn't think you'd be such a plain Jane, Jake. I should start calling you Jane. Same first letter, it works!" Albert smiled. Then the waiter came back with their drinks. "I won't judge whichever of you ordered apple juice, really I'd want apple juice too." She put the apple juice in the middle of the table, putting the water next to it. Albert grabbed the apple juice, Jake calmly getting his water. "Just call me if you need anything, your order will be coming soon." She walked away, a slight skip in her step. Albert smiled and poked his straw through the little box, and began to drink it. "It's always nice to have a sip of juice, there's nothing wrong with that." He said happily, taking another small sip.

Soon their pancakes arrived. "Plain pancakes belong to you, and blueberry strawberry mix goes to you. Alright, that's it. Call me when your ready to pay, and you'll be out the door." She said, somewhat bowing and walking away. "Y'know, she's pretty nice." Albert smiled, grabbing a knife and starting to cut into his pancakes hurriedly. He clearly hasn't eaten a good meal in a while.. Jake thought to himself. "Albert, when was the last time you've eaten?" He asked the boy. Albert, his mouth stuffed with food, answered. "Mot im a wong time." Jake didn't hear a word he just said. So Albert, with a sip of his juice, swallowed his mouthful. "Ahem.. Not in a long time." He said, pointing his finger up.

{Time skip brought to you by pancakes}

They had finished their food and paid, so they decided to go home. It was still morning, ish.. Thy had some time before it was officially afternoon. "You wanna go anywhere else, Albert?" Jake asked. He knew Albert wasn't doing so well after the situation with Lana, so he wanted to make him feel better. If that's even possible.. Jake thought to himself. Albert looked up at the roof of the car. He put his finger up to his mouth, thinking for a moment. He abruptly nodded, signaling he didn't wanna really go anywhere. "Ok, we'll go home." Jake turned on the car and began to drive to their shared home.

Albert opened the door, the warmth of the house hitting him in the face. The both of them walked in, Albert going on faster. Albert walked upstairs immediately, turning to.. Jakes side of the hallway. He walked into Jakes room, closing the door behind him. He jumped onto Jakes bed. "Mmmm it smells like him too.." He mumbled, tired after eating something so good for the first time in so long. He pulled the blankets onto himself, covering his body as he snuggled up. Every second, he took in the wonderful scent of Jake. It was sweet, but not too sweet, warm and fuzzy. It made him feel comforted.

Jake was in the living room watching tv. "Albert, you wanna come watch this show with me?" He asked. When he got no reply, he got a little worried. There was indeed a bathroom on his side of the hallway.. He just hoped Albert hadn't gone in there, there were to many sharp objects in there.. Razors and such. "Albert, are you ok..?" He asked to no one in particular. Oh god, please no.. He got up and speed walked to the bathroom. He stopped in his tracks when he heard soft snoring coming from his room. He cracked the door to see Albert's sleeping figure, laying perfectly still in his bed. Jake sighed in relief when he saw this. He had been so worried all this time, all for nothing. "I just hope he doesn't do that again.." He closed the door, letting Albert sleep peacefully.

Jake walked back downstairs, going to enjoy the show. "I wish Albert could see it, too." He looked up at his room again, thinking about his boyfriend sound asleep in his bedroom. He smiled gleefully to himself, turning on the show. It was a Netflix original, probably some adaptation, but he didn't mind. It was a show, and he was bored so he'd watch it.
