"Something bad is going to happen..."
When y/n woke up, the same thought came back to her. She usually had no trouble sleeping and was used to waking up at the same time each morning. But not tonight. Everything was still dark, checking the time on her alarm clock, it turned out to be very well past 3:00 am. A feeling of paranoia and dread washed over her as she realized the sounds coming from outside her window. There were no birds singing or window taping. Sirens. Police sirens.
She lifted her head slightly as her vision came into focus. There was a window to the side of her bed. Through the drapes, flashing red and blue lights where illuminating her room. Still confused, she sat up, letting her legs dangle from the side of her bed. That when it all made sense. The strange feeling she'd been getting, it must have something to do with the Woods family after what happened. What if something bad happened to Jeff or Lui?
She whipped the blanket off of her and shot out of bed. She peered out her window, trying to see as clearly as possible. Of course, the cars were parked in front of the Wood family's home, along with an ambulance, and multiple police officers searching the area. Fully awake now, y/n raced out her bedroom door and into the living room where her parents were standing already, with the door wide open, whispering among themselves. "What the fuck happened?" y/n nearly yelled. Her mother turned to look at her with wide eyes. "Y/N watch your language! We don't know what's going on either. Just go back to bed and we'll try to figure this out."
Y/n wasn't going to wait until the morning to know what happened to her friends. Instead, she sprinted past her parents into her front lawn as her parents called after her. There was already plenty of caution tape surrounding her friend's home. She ducked and continued to run towards the house when someone stopped her. "Excuse me, Miss, this is a crime scene, please stay off this property, or we will remove you." a police officer spoke in a sturdy voice, blocking her view from the house ahead of her. Her eyes began to tear up. "Crime scene?! Are they okay? They're my best friends you have to tell me what's going on!" She began to scream at the man as tears were now running down her face. The officer was about to speak when y/n's mother's voice was heard from beyond the bright caution tape. "Y/n! Get back inside now!"
After being dragged back into the house by her mother and given a good lecture about all the wrong she had done, y/n was left in her dimly-lit room, peering outside as the sun rose and all the cars began to leave. All that was left was an empty house and caution tape scattered everywhere. She wanted to get up and walk back over, in hopes of finding out what possibly could have happened, but it seemed impossible. Her limbs were frozen in place and she could hardly move. Crime scene? What did he mean by that? When was Liu coming back? She could hardly keep a thought in place as suddenly, a knock was heard at her bedroom door. It was Y/n's mother.
"Y/n honey. Something happened, and I think we need to talk about it."
