I'm not sure what has happened. I don't know where I am. All I remember is getting into a car from school. In fact I can't even remember my own name. My head hurt like crazy. I must be in a vehicle because I know we must be moving. I'm laying down that's for sure. My eyes feel to heavy to open.
I'm pretty sure I'm 18, actually, I'm for sure. I finally open my eyes a bit but the light is too bright. I keep squinting and I can now see I'm for sure in some type of vehicle. Once my eyes finally adjust I look over at the rear-view mirror. I can see a man with bright blue eyes and brown hair focused on the road. At least I'm pretty sure it's brown. He looked about my age.
I see the trees and buildings passing by outside. I look down where I can see my dirty blonde hair with a bit more brown then blonde. I look back at the rear-view mirror to see the man again with his eyes still focused on the road. I had no clue who he is. I decided to try to sit up but then my head starts beating even more in pain.
"Could you stay lying down? Don't worry, we'll be there soon."
I lay back down and then say quietly, "Who...who are you?"
"I'm Alexander but you can call me Alex, if you want. What's your name?"
"Um...it's um..."
I tried so hard but I just couldn't remember my name. I stay silent trying really hard to remember.
"Don't worry about it. Its okay, we're going to get to the hospital soon."
Once we arrive he opens up my door and helps me while I sit up. I go to get out of the car but once I'm standing I almost fall to the ground. Luckily Alex catches me before I do. He picks me up and is quickly carrying me into the hospital.
I must of blacked out because when I wake up I'm in a hospital bed. I let my eyes adjust to the light of the room. I see Alex sitting down in a chair with my backpack at his feet. I don't remember anything about my life before this but I knew that I had to have parents...at least I think.
Alex looks up at me and then says, "oh, your up. I brought your backpack but I didn't go through it knowing that it wasn't mine, here."
I take the backpack from him and start looking through it. I was sitting part way up leaning on the bed. I finally find a phone and it definitely had to be mine. I turn it on and realize it's fingerprint and password protected. I sigh wishing that I didn't have that on there. I try each of my fingers until it finally works.
I had to figure out what my name was. I start searching through things trying to find my name. Finally I find it, Olivia Nichols.
"My name is Olivia...Olivia Nichols."
"That's good to know. Did you figure that out on your own of did your phone have it?"
"The phone...is that a bad thing."
"No that's great! Now we know what your name is. It's going to be a while till you memory comes back completely."
"What do you mean?"
"Can't you not remember anything from your past?"
"Well...no...but...what happened?"
"That's what we're trying to figure out. You were kinda off to the side of the road in the grass with your backpack lying next to you. You were knocked out and unconscious. We have no clue who your parents are and how you even got there in the first place. My dad actually works here."
"Oh..."
"It's okay, we're going to figure this out."
I start looking through the pictures. I see pictures with a few other people and lots of the pictures were of other random things like landscapes. I finally get bored and start getting tired. I look through my bag again until I pulled out a sketch book that was in there. I start looking through it until I get to a blank page. I pull out a pencil from my backpack and start sketching. I feel my eyes getting heavier as I sketched. I wasn't quite sure what I was sketching and then I fell asleep.
