7:00am and the alarm clock goes off, Tony gets ready to head to work and Lynda gets ready to take the kids to register them to school. Tony had to get to the office a little earlier, so he left earlier than everyone else and as soon as he left the house he noticed that Sammy was still outside in the same spot staring at the tree.

Instead of approaching him he called out to Sammy a few times until Sammy responded and ran to Tony, when he ran to Tony, Tony then brought him inside the house and then left.

Caitlyn now had to leave in a rush with the kids to make sure they wouldn't be late to get registered in school.

As she gave all the information needed to the principal, one student from both classes had come to take Dean and Caitlyn to their new classes. As lunch time came around Dean wanted to make some new friends... he figured he would tell some of his classmates about what happened with Sammy.

Once Dean is finished telling his story, his classmate Jacob tells him about the local legend of Port Durell.

"centuries ago there was a family who lived in this town, they were an odd family, never very social. One day the father came home grabbed his two kids and his wife beat them till they couldn't walk and then hung them all from the tree in their front yard and then later hung himself. This happened so many years ago that now no one knows which house it was... but now we may have an idea"

After hearing about the local legend Dean was not very comfortable with the new house anymore, part of him wanted to move back to the old house in the city.

Once school was over and Dean got home, he told his mom all about the local legend and at first, she thought it was just a little joke they were trying to play on Dean.

Later, that night she decided to do some research of her own on this legend, as it turns out this legend was very real, in fact she had found so many websites that were giving information about the family and a parameter as to where the house was... and it just happens that their house is within that area.

Tony had finally got home, and he seemed to be a little annoyed, first thing he did was go to his office, pour himself a cup of scotch and drink it. After a while he went to go and get ready for bed.

As he gets into bed, Lynda asks him if he knew about the local legend and he replied with "that's just a bunch of crap people in this town made up, now I got a long day tomorrow so goodnight." And rolled on his side and went to sleep.

Clearly Tony did not think much of the legend, but Lynda thought otherwise, she decided to stay up and do some more research on the town's legend.

The next morning Lynda got up earlier to go make breakfast for everyone and as she went downstairs looking for Sammy she noticed that the front door was open, and Sammy was once again outside staring at the tree in the porch.

She started to feel uncomfortable there so after everyone ate, she dropped off the kids at school and she went to a library. When she got there, she went online to look for anyone that could help her.

After a few hours of looking she finally found someone named Owen Myers who apparently took care of a few cases related to hers, she decided that she would give him a call but before asking him to check out the house she wanted to talk to Tony first.
