Chapter 5: The Legend is Reborn

As Caitlyn disappears into the night, Dean comes out to see what happened and finds his mom on the floor holding onto her face. With a little bit of fear, he asks what happened and Lynda tells him to go to sleep.

As he enters the house he sees a boy around his age standing next to the basement door. "follow me" he hears. Dean decides to follow the young boy to the basement and when he goes he sees the boy crawling under an old table his aunt kept. Dean follows him and crawls under the table and asks who he is.

"my name is Adler" replied the boy. "where do you live?" asked Dean, "I used to live where you live now... that is until my father hung me from the tree outside of the house." Dean shaking asks "wa...wait are you a ghost? Are you going hurt me?" Adler responds "in simple terms let's say sure, and no I am not going to hurt you, I am here to help you live. You need to kill your father before he kills you, and anyone else that tries to get in your way."

Dean wakes up in his bed drenched in sweat but thanking God that it was only just a nightmare. He gets ready as he normally does for school and heads downstairs where he finds his mom in the kitchen with a big bandage covering her eye and part of her cheek. He now starts breathing heavy trying to think about whether it happened or not.

His mom drops him off at school and he goes to the bathroom to try and clean off some of the sweat off his face, he finally cools himself down and dries his face with paper towel. As he looks in the mirror he sees "are you ready to kill?" written on the glass.

Dean runs out of the bathroom screaming and runs out of the school, he runs all the way back to his aunt's house and jumps in bed and hides under the covers.

He hears his mom calling and slowly makes his way downstairs. He goes down and walks all over the house just to find out that he was home alone. Out comes Adler and he says "Dean, your mom is trying to get rid of me, she is going to bring a man here tonight to try and "help" her, you need to stop him or else your father will not only kill you... but everyone else in your family like mine did to us." Dean asked "okay... but what do I do? How do I stop him?" "think of him as your enemy and you want him to have a slow painful death, then you will know how".

Later that day the doorbell rings and in comes Owen Myers, the man who must die. From the moment he walks in Dean starts thinking of ways he can save himself and his family, but then his attack plan occurred to him.

During dinner Dean asked to be excused before finishing his food, he said he was too tired and wanted to go to sleep. Dean goes up to his room and grabs a few supplies on his way.

He goes up and sneaks outside from the window and climbs down. He waits in Owens car until he comes out. Not too long after he hears "don't you worry mam, I will do my best to help you and your family" as Owen opens the door to his car.

Owen now leaves and as he stops at the corner at the stop sign, that is when Dean attacks. Dean first shatters an empty beer bottle on his head to knock him out, he gets out of the car and starts pouring oil that he found in the car and goes around the car and then makes a trail, he throws a match into it and watches the flames start. He starts to hear the screaming as Owen wakes up to his car in flames.

As the car is going upin flames he sees Adler and approaches him. Adler says, "I like theimagination, you took care of him, next is Tony." Dean looks at him and replies,"what makes you so sure my dad will kill us?", Adler replies,  "I have been watching your family, and your dad seems to be acting just the way mine did just before he killed usall, your sister will most likely be first considering she is at the house now,isn't she?"
