To let a bird fly

A lonely child cries away
Tears have never gone
Never again searching him
For he had flew to the horizon

There she crestfallen
For having no more companion
Whom she used to take care of
Oh how sorrowful she is

She wants to protect him
To be there whenever he gets hurt
She wishes to hold him
And tell him that everything's fine

His presence is everything to her
Within the nameless sky
She spotted birds with freedom
Which remind her of him

Oh how she wants to keep him safe
Yet he's far away from her reach
She's fully aware
That he has gained his own freedom and future

To the nature, she asks for her last favor
Sadly yet full of hopes
To watch over him, wherever he is
Knowing that she won't be able to do it anymore
