Emily's POV

"Do you know when is the freshman year starting?" I asked Leah who was busy stuffing the donut in her mouth. She stopped when she heard my question and then shrugged, putting another one in her mouth.

"Next week I guess." Evelyn answered and then once again busied herself in her phone.

Next week? That means Justin would be coming here soon. Last I talked to him, it was almost a month ago and he was still working in that cafe and taking some Arts classes.

After saying Goodbye to both of them, I picked up my book and walked out of the cafeteria. As soon as I stepped out of the college building, someone called my name and I turned towards the source of the voice. I could recognize this voice even in my dreams because it belonged to the person I was dying to see.

"Justin!" I exclaimed loudly and ran towards him and as soon as I reached him, he enveloped me in a hug.

"Oh My God! I didn't expect you to be here so soon." I said, putting my head on his shoulder. He just hummed in response and tightened his arms around me.

Few minutes have passed when I realised that all the students were watching us with googly eyes so I pulled apart and stepped away from him.

He looked different, good different. He was wearing a white color button-up shirt unlike those dark T-shirts and the best thing was that he was wearing glasses that made him look super hot. And even his usually messy hair was now gelled back with perfection. His eyes were brighter and his smile was wider.

"You look different." I commented and he ran his fingers through his hair. I wanted to say much more to him but I didn't find the courage to.

"You look different too." he said, eyeing me up and down with a charming smile on his face. He was probably right because I joined gym this year and within few months, I have lost some weight. My stomach was flatter now and my legs and arms were not so flabby anymore. Plus, the squats helped too.

"Come on. Let's go. I want to show you something." he said and walked in front of me. Following him, I revelled in the sight of his muscular built in front of me.

He stopped when we reached the parking lot in front of a beautiful Mercedes. "Where are we going?" I asked.

"I want to show you my apartment." he smiled at me and opened the door for me. My eyes shifted between the door and him and after furrowing my brows, I slid inside.

"Your apartment? Your Dad bought you your own apartment?" I asked in surprise.

"Not my Dad." he said and started the car. "I had some savings from before and the rest of them were from different jobs and competitions that I won the last year."

I stared at him in awe, praising mentally how far had he come. "That's great Justin." I complimented.

The rest of the drive passed in silence. When he halted the car in front of an apartment, I walked out of the car and followed him inside. It wasn't a huge apartment but it was cozy and it had a homely smell to it. There was a lounge with joint kitchen at the entrance and at its other end, there were two rooms.

"It's beautiful." I said in appraisal and when I looked back at him, I found him staring at me with his lips slightly parted.

He stepped towards me, holding me captive with the intense look in his eyes. "Please tell me you don't have a boyfriend." he said.
