Justin's POV
"Who the fuck is knocking at the God damn door?" I cursed loudly as I hopped out of the bed. The marbled floor felt cold against my feet as I made my way to the door and opened it, revealing Chloe standing there in the Gucci dress that I had gifted her.
"What are you doing here?" I said in a frustrated voice as she sauntered inside and made herself comfortable on the antique sofa.
She threw a packet towards me which I caught in time. Opening it, I looked at the jeans and T-shirt inside in confusion.
"Get dressed Justin. We are going to Alicia's birthday party." she said in her usual confident voice which irked my sleepy mind.
"But why? We aren't even invited yet." I groaned and chucked the shopping bag back to her.
"So what? Chloe Parker doesn't need invitation to go anywhere." she said and put her legs carelessly on the centre table which Dad had imported last month from France.
"Just get the fuck out of here and let me sleep." I said angrily and jumped back in the bed. Hiding under the comforter, I waited for her to leave so I could continue sleeping.
After few minutes, I heard her heels click on the floor, followed by slow closing of the door. Sighing in relief, I shut my eyes but before I could sleep, my phone rang again.
The caller ID showed Dad's name. Preparing myself for another lecture, I attended the call and waited for him to burst from the other side.
"Justin! I just got a call from Chloe." he said in his authorative voice and I internally cursed Chloe for her manipulative ways.
"She is a pain in my ass Dad." I huffed, pulling myself to sitting position.
"Shut up Justin. Have you forgotten what a conniving bitch her mother is? As my lawyer, she has all the evidences against me which can ruin my political career. Is it that hard to understand for that pathetic little mind of yours?" he grumbled.
"But Dad-" he cut the call before I could finishing the sentence.
I rubbed my cheeks with my hands and groaned in exasperation. When I lifted my face, I found Chloe in the doorframe, her signature smirk on her cherry tinted lips.
"C'mon I'll be waiting for you downstairs." she smiled and walked out of my sight, swaying her lips.
...
I tapped my foot on the floor impatiently, sleep clouding my senses as I tried to keep myself awake. Everybody was busy wishing Alicia while Chloe kept me stuck at one corner.
"Look at Em. She looks so ugly." she said to me and I lifted my head to look at her. When my eyes landed on her, I choked on the cola in my hand. She had changed into a black one piece swimsuit that hugged all her delicious curves at the right places. The swimsuit accentuated her bust, that caused all the blood in my body rush downwards.
"I wonder why she is showing off her disgusting body. Look at her stomach flab peeking through the material." Chloe said to Fiona, Mason's girlfriend.
"Stupid girl. She thinks she can compete with you." Fiona added, much to my irritation.
"As if." Chloe smirked and pulled the poncho over her head, leaving her in a blue bikini. Her boobs were almost spilling out of the triangular top and when I told her that, she barked at me.
"At least I have the body to show off. Look at her, showcasing all her fat." she spat and my blood pressure peaked.
"Shut up Chloe. We both know she is looking better than you. Pretend as much as you want but you ain't deceiving anybody." I gritted, feeling offended at her. Her face contorted with anger and I gasped when I realized what I had said.
"Chloe-"
"Fuck off Justin. Go Fuck yourself." she stomped away and I cursed under my breath. It wasn't entirely my fault, it had been so long since I was dealing with her shit. I was tired now.
"Ooh.. Haven't you heard never mess with the crazy?" It was Noah's voice, who had suddenly erupted to rub salt on my wound.
"Shut up Man." I said and slid down on the couch.
He sat down beside me and pulled a box out of her pocket. "Would she like it?" he asked, showing me the earrings. They looked expensive as hell. It was probably his gift for Alicia, this man was whipped and he didn't even know it.
"How much did they cost?" I asked, assessing it.
"Two grands." he replied and it knocked the breath out of my lungs.
"Why the heck would you give her such expensive item?" I asked, frowning at him.
"Have you looked at her?" he nodded towards Alicia's direction who was laughing carelessly with Sophia. "It can't be more expensive than her smile."
"God! Stop talking like a lovestruck idiot." I slapped his arm and groaned.
"I'm not lovestruck." he whined, punching me back on my arm.
"Of course you aren't." I rolled my eyes and stood up, strolling away from the party.
My eyes wandered in search of her. She wasn't with her friends so I grew a little restless, wanting to see if she was okay. I have always thought of myself as a hypocrite, I didn't have guts to accept in front of anyone that I find Emily beautiful or that I don't want to bully her. But what could I do? That's what who I am.
I heaved a sigh of relief when I found her sitting near a desk, alone. I watched her from afar, looking at the beautiful hues of ocean, smiling at God knows what. An involuntary smile graced my lips when she ruffled her hair, turning them into a hot mess.
I took one step towards her but stopped when someone else appeared from behind and sat down beside her. It was Damien, the same guy who asked her to tutor him. Anger swirled through my being and I clenched my fist tightly.
I fought back the urge to push him away from her but I knew I couldn't do this. So I watched them from a distance, cursing at him when he pushed some of her hair behind her ears.
When it became too difficult to watch them together, I stomped out of that place and walked back to the party.
"They look good together." Chloe's irritating voice reached my ears again and I turned my face to her. She had her manipulative smile on and was now patting my arms. "At least he respects her."
"She hates you Justin. She knows what a bloody dog you are!" she whispered in my ears and smoke started coming out of my ears. "I'm your only option."
Angling my face towards her, I snorted and despite the nagging of my conscience, claimed her lips with mine and kissed her hard. We both skipped the party and like every other night, I spent it in Chloe's embrace, just so I could forget Emily and the bastard that was after her.
I'm pathetic!

Like seriously, Justin is a pathetic excuse of a man. I don't like writing about him. Let's hope I find courage to find a good way to end their story.
