friday

"kim jennie"

the said girl rolled her eyes and turned around, now being face to face with the one who called her name.

"what is it lalisa?" she asks and the blonde haired girl scoffs.
"it's our turn to have the studio" jennie furrowed her eyebrows.
"you practiced yesterday" jennie states and puts her hand on the doorknob.
"well, since we are having an important competition on friday, we get extra time to practice" lalisa shows a note written by the principal.

jennie curses under he breath.

"stop acting like a child, you are just jealous because we actually have competitions, and you guys just hop around and shouts to players that they are doing good" a voice behind lisa says.

jennie didn't even have to look to know who just spoke.

"well jisoo, stop being so cocky, we both know who's the better kim" jennie said and jisoo rolled her eyes.
"now, let's go girls, it starts to smell like trash here" jennie said, and the rest of the cheerleading team followed her.

"jennie, how are your studies going?" mr. kim, jennie's father, asked.
"it's going good father, almost straight A's" jennie smiles and her father looked satisfied.
"and you, seungmin?" he asked, and jennie's younger brother nodded and pointed at jennie, still having food in his mouth.
"shame ash her" he said, mouth full.

their mother gave him a glare for speaking with food in his mouth and he chuckled.

"how's jongin doing?" their mother asked jennie.
"good, he's still captain over the football team" jennie answered and her father smiles brightly.
"i like jongin, he has a wealthy family and seems like a great guy" her father said and jennie smiled slightly.

in all honestly, their relationship hadn't been the best the last few weeks. jongin didn't have time to meet her, saying that 'they had more football practices, since its soon is football season'. she believed him, of course, but her gut told her it was something else that was wrong.

"does the dance team still believe they are better than you cheerleaders?" mrs. kim asked and jennie nods.
"they are a joke, acting like they could compete with the best girls in the world" the mom continues and sips her wine.

jennie nodded, agreeing with her, there were no other people jennie disliked as much as the dancers, especially lalisa and jisoo.

jisoo walked into the apartment she rented, smiling at her cat that sat in the hall, waiting for her.

"hi sunflower" she said and patted the cat, the cat meowed back to her.

jisoo let's go off her bag and walks into the kitchen/living room area, and opens the fridge to look for some food.
she found leftovers from a sleepover with lisa, and puts it in the microwave.

while eating, she got a phone call.

"hi taehyung" she smiles into the phone.

"jisooooo, i've misses you babe"

jisoo chuckled at her best guy friend.

"where are you?" she asks, as she hadn't seen him in school that day.

"still helping my mother, oh yeah that's why i called you, she wondered which type of cookies you wanted"

taehyung's mother was like jisoo's mother, and every summer from when she was eight to when she was fifteen, she stayed at their place.

"uh, the raspberry-white chocolate ones" jisoo answered and taehyung chuckles.

"i knew you would say that, anyways i gotta go, but i'm coming back to seoul tomorrow, so i'll see you, by ji"

he hung up before letting her say goodbye.

"typical tae" she said and giggled.
