Isn't it so funny that the people you think will be in your life forever don't actually care about you. Not really. Not deep down in their souls. They will tell you to your face that they care about you and that they will do anything for you. They just tell themselves that so that if anything ever happened they wouldn't feel bad. They get to say "I told her to come to me. Why didn't she say anything? Why didn't she talk to me?" That's why they tell you that they care. But when you are drunk and vulnerable and cry, when you tell them over and over again you want to kill yourself... They laugh. They shrug it off. "She is just drunk." Then, the next morning, when they recount the night because you don't remember much, they say you were being dramatic, as they laugh, because you kept saying you were going to kill yourself. And you, absolutely mortified that your true feelings came out, and they are laughing at it, not caring, you just awkwardly look away and smile saying "yeah... dramatic." That is what I mean when I say they don't actually care.
