Joeys POV ,
It's been 1 year since Kylie had passed away. Today is the day she passed so me and Shane decided to go to the cemetery. We got in the car and I looked over at Shane, he was just looking out the window.
"You ok?" I asked him gently putting my hand on his shoulder. "I just wanna get this over with" he said with a sad look on his face. Ever since Kylie passed away, he's been, needy (per-say) He always hangs around with a sad look on his face. He always asks to go back to her hospital room, but another child was in it every time he would ask. As we got to her Tombstone, Shane started to act different. He kneeled to the ground and just started bawling.
Shane's POV
When we got to the cemetery, I started to get a sick feeling. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I've always hated cemetery's ever since my grandma passed away. When we got to the tombstone, I just lost it. I was crying so much I could barely breath. "WHY DID YOU LEAVE US!" I screamed. Everyone who was in the cemetery (all of 5 people) started looking at me. "Shane! Calm down! Shhhh it's ok," Joey said to me as he knelt next to me. "ITS NOT OK! HE TOOK HER FROM US! SHE HAD NOTHING BUT US!" I said before I saw the ambulance come. Joey had called 911 to calm me down. "IVE SPENT A YEAR BARLEY BEING MYSELF BECAUSE I LOVED THIS LITTLE GIRL, AND SHE JUST HAD TO GO?!?" Then, I started to get light headed, and I passed out. When I woke up, I had an IV in my hand, "J-Joey?" I said waking up. "Thank god your awake, Shane I have a serious question." He said holding my hand. "What?" I said rubbing my eye. "I found a local orphanage, and they have a baby that they are gonna send to a different orphanage if someone doesn't take it, Shane, can we adopt it?" He said to me in his puppy dog eyes. "How old is it?" I said looking at the papers he had handed me about the baby. "It's not an it, it's a baby girl named Avia, and she's 6 months old. Pleaseeee Shane?" I gave me the puppy dog eyes again. "I don't know Joey I just-" then I was interrupted by his lips smashing into mine. Then he backed away and sat down again, with red cheeks. "How about now?" He said smirking at me. "Fine, we can adopt it- I mean Avia" I said handing Joey back the papers. "EEEK! Thanks Shane!" He said giving me the biggest hug ever. "No prob babe, now, when can I come home?" I asked looking at my phone. It was 3:30 pm. "The doc said you can go home when we run 1 more test." He said holding my hand. "So, what do you wanna do when we get home?" " Have some fun, if you know what I mean" he said to me and winked. I could feel my face getting red and his lips smashed back onto mine.
