School the past week has been a hassle. I've been good with ignoring my friends... Or... Ex friends I guess. They just stopped trying completely and now before I went to school my mum was checking my outfits and bag, making sure nothing was out of place.

When my dad heard out about it, he hired a person from school to make sure I wasn't doing anything illegal or plotting anything. The girl was nice, but it should be me not getting her to do anything bad, not the other way around.

The girls name was Maggie, and although she seemed annoying around others, she was actually sweet and not annoying.

''I'm only annoying around others so that they will leave me alone. And they do. So it works.''

I simply smiled at her but as soon as I saw Louis walking over my way it disappeared.

''Uh... We should... Go...''

''Nope, I called him over here.''

''Why not Liam?''

"Because Louis can knock some sense into your head.''

''Ashton.''

"Hi...''

''Ooooohhh, you broke your mothers ruuule!''

"Maggie.''

I didn't even want to talk to him... Okay, I did... I wanted to talk to all of my old friends again, all three of them, but I knew if my mother found out she would kill me. Maybe not go as far as to kill me, just ground me or send me away, to live with my cousins, who I very strongly dislike.

Hate is a pretty strong word.

Maggie disagrees though, apparently she has 'proof', when in reality all she did was put the word 'hate' into a password slot on gmail, and it came up with 'weak password.'

Thats not really something to go by, but I just smiled, nodded and said that I hated Sphynx (a hairless cat).

''How've you been Ashton?''

''I've been... Okay...''

''Well... I have one little question.''

''Go ahead.''

''Why?''

''Because... I... I don't like you guys anymore...''

Maggie sighed and Louis looked shocked. To be honest, I just hadn't wanted to say the real reason because it was dumb.

Who my age listens to their mother?!

Apart from me, no one. People, like Maggie, pretended, but I think their parents knew.

It honestly killed me to see Louis walk away, sour look on his face, but I think what hurt me most was that know I knew I would never be able to regain that friendship.

"Okay mummas boy, you're coming with me."

"Maggie. Plea-"

"Nope, now."

I looked at her, why was I friends with her? She's going to be the reason I do rebel against my parents, which I would never, ever in my life imagine.

It would crush my parents more than when I tell them I'm gay.

That's something I want to put off until I move out of house, and then if they don't accept it, which I'm suspecting they wont because they shunned my uncle for this, then I don't need to worry about ever speaking to them again. Okay, that sounded a bit mean...

"Maggieeee!"

So instead of being dragged towards Liam and Louis' table, both me and Maggie were being dragged to Luke's. Okay.

That was leading me away from one problem to another.

"I was just telling Luke about... Oh... Hello Ashton, how are you?"

I hadn't exactly met Angie because she seemed a bit...

Crazy...

And insane...

And non-human...

Whoops...

Plus it turns out, Maggie and Angie weren't even really friends, they didn't like each other because Maggie wouldn't help her out with Luke and Maggie was annoyed with Angie's obsession with Luke, but that's none of my business.

I was imagining the 'Kermit the frog drinking' meme by the way.

I laughed at that.

As we were forced to sit down Maggie gave me a look of sorry-ness and I simply nodded as she dived into 'typical annoying white girl.' I was too busy trying to not to hate Maggie, to notice that Luke kept on looking at me.

"I'm so bored."

"Can we leave then?"

I looked over at Kat and Michael and noticed how Kat kept on glaring at Maggie. I heard they used to be best friends until Kat ditched her for Michael and his group. Maggie was heartbroken and thus she found Angie, and then me.

I, personally, think I'm a much better, less annoying friend Angie, but that's none of my business.

Kermit the frog memes ruin my life.

But that is my business.
