waiting game

i will wait here
for love so strong can wait
but is it really worth the pain?

why should i wait
when i know in my heart the feelings i have will soon go out of date?

will this waiting game last forever
while my heart breaks?

i am tired of waiting on you
i am tired of crying and wasting my nights away
for now i will let go.

but if one day your feelings are the same
i will open my arms to you
and the waiting game will repeat
