hiding each day is a struggle
for i am aching to tell you my secretsthe mask super-glued to my face is like acid
agonizing and painful
but i can't pull it offi wonder if you would notice all of my flaws
and a different opinion of me would be shaped
maybe i'd like thatmaybe i wish you hated me
this fake persona is my enemymaybe you wear a mask too
does it make you feel blue?these are questions only you could answer
but we are like puppets
i will wait for you though
and the real me and you will shine through
