It was the last day of school and Grace was excited. She was pushed outside by everyone wanting to get out. Well that was easy I didn't even have to walk she thought. Kate the most popular girl in school walked up to Grace and said
"Your lucky loser, no more of me hey?"
Grace ran to her mums car because she didn't want to put up with Kate today, she didn't really feel like it because she didn't have a good day. Graces house was only 3 minutes away, Grace liked it that way because it was close.
She dragged her bag out of the car and knocked on the door because it was locked and Graces brother,George was home with Graces dad. When George opened the door he laughed "You may not pass!" Grace pushed past him and ran upstairs without saying anything she just wanted to go to her room.
George ran up to Grace and jumped on her back but Grace pushed him off and kept going upstairs. She opened the door and closed it behind her but a second later George barged in without closing it.
"Let's play!" He yells.
"OMG STOP YELLING" Grace yells back.
"NO YOU STOP YELLING" George yells.
"BOTH OF YOU STOP YELLING" Screams mum from the kitchen downstairs.
It stops and Grace runs to the bathroom and locks it. She doesn't get to be by herself for long though.
"Grace come down here please" calls Graces mum. Graces mum always was wanted help from Grace but this time it wasn't for help.
Grace ran down stairs and there was a package... for Grace! She never got mail. She went into her room and ripped open the package it was a letter and a stone?
The letter read
" Dear cat lover, we need you help please meet me at the Deli at 11:00pm,Today. Just put your hand on the stone. Tell no one!
From Captain Bonnie. "
"WHAT!" Grace screamed. George ran in the room with his hands on his ears.
"Stop that horrible screechin...." But before he could finish he saw the rock.
"Can I have it, please please please!" George got on his knees.
"GET OUT" Grace yelled thinking how dare he walk in and ask for her gift.
"Both of you time for dinner" yelled mum back to both of them breaking their fight.
She quickly put the rock in her drawers and left to go to down for dinner.
