-Peeta's POV-

I wake up to a scream. Katniss. The kids are asleep. I rush down stairs but I stop at the last step. Katniss is curled up in a ball sobbing on the floor. When I touch her shoulder she screams. "DONT HURT ME!" She screams. I pick her up and she thrashes around. When I sit her on the couch she sees it's just me.

She launches herself in my arms and shakes. Her legs wrap around my waist and she sobs in my shirt. I sit down and lean back, rubbing her back in circles. "Shhh." I coo. She eventually calms down but still shakes.

"What's wrong?" I ask. She points to a bloody note. I pick it up.

Dear Katniss,

We know where you are. We know everything about you. Your nightmares to the time you wake up and go to sleep. Maybe I might be someone you are close to. I've turned on everyone and everything.

Better keep watch,

"Katniss.." I say but she's not there. I search all the rooms. Not there. I look in the crib. Only Hunter and Willow are there. "Rye?" I say while searching. Him and Katniss are gone.

Then I remember: Better Keep Watch.

I pick Hunter and Willow up, wrap them in a blanket gently so I don't wake them, and scurry out the door to Annie's house. I knock on the door and Finnick opens it.

I explain what happened and he takes the kids. I thank him and run. I pull the bloody note from my pocket.

Who is this person?

I hear a scream and a baby cry. The sound makes goosebumps appear on my arms. Rye...Katniss.. I hear a yell of some sort and everything goes quiet. I run towards the way the sound came from. I open the doors of an old building and look around. I step inside. Nothing is heard.

I exit and fall to my knees. "I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." I whisper tears flowing down my cheeks.

I will try my best to find you baby.
