Chapter 30

-Katniss's POV-

-Dream|Memory-

"C'mon Catnip!" 9 year old Gale yells. I run in front of him. "You c'mon 'Dale'!" I say, emphasizing on what Miss Trills called him today at school. "Don't call me that!" He groans. I laugh as we enter the playground. I immediately go to the swings. I jump on one, "Push me Gale!!!" I exclaim and he runs behind me. Then pushes my back and I go up, up, and away!

"Woah!" I yell as I am going very high right now. Gale runs to the slide and slides down. "I can't stop!" I scream of terror as I try to stop the swing. Suddenly as I lean over I fall off. I cry of pain and lift my head. the swings comes back and slams into the back of my head sending pain throughout my body. "Oh my god Catnip! Are you alright?" He asks and I groan "No."

I gently touch the back of my head and look at my fingers. Pure blood. "I'll find your dad." Gale says and runs away from me. I curl up in a ball and sob. My foot is not going in the right direction, I might of twisted it. Suddenly some one picks me up and I look up to see a pair of grey eyes. Daddy. "It's okay Archer, I'm bringing you home to mommy." He says, trying to calm me down.

He runs as fast as he could and soon enough we arrive home. "It's Katniss!" My dad yells to my mom who is goofing off with 5 year old Prim. "Oh my!" She gasps and takes me to the table. She works on me.

"Sweetie I'm going to have to put your foot back in place." Mom says calmly. I shake my head furiously. "Hold her down." She says nodding towards daddy. "No!" I scream and dad holds me down. I squirm around and mom puts her hand on my foot. Pain shoots up me and I grimace In pain.

"1...2...3!" She yells and twists my foot to the right position. I scream so high pitch.

"Archer your fine!" My dad assures. I keep sobbing until finally I calm down. My mom wraps it up and gives me crutches. I look to my dad. "Does this mean no hunting?" I frown, whining slightly.

He nods and chuckles, "not till 6 weeks Archer!"

I groan. No hunting for a whole month and 2 weeks.

What a terrible day.

I shoot up in my bed. I laugh to myself, "and I thought a twisted foot would be the worst pain. Till life punched me in the face." A tear falls and I wipe it away. I rub my now 4 month baby bump. Yep, Peeta's been gone for 3 whole weeks.

I hear the door open and close. It's probably Tris coming over or something so I just snuggle into the blankets and close my eyes. Then my bedroom door opens and I hear feet. Then two little bodies are on me. I shoot up and grab them for a hug. "Willow! Hunter!" I squeal and kiss their faces all over. They giggle. "No kisses for Peeta?" I hear a voice. I lay down the twins and see Peeta smiling there with wide open arms. I run and jump off the bed into Peeta's arms.

"I missed you so so much!" I cry tears of joy. "I missed you too baby." Peeta says in to my hair. "Is your brother okay?" I ask and he smiles then nods. "Very much so." He laughs. "I'm glad Amara still has a dad. She's such a sweet girl and already has starving on the streets since age 13." I sigh of relief.

"I love you." Peeta says.

I smile.

"I love you too." I say and kiss him.

He break the kiss which seems like forever then he says, "4 months eh?" Rubbing my stomach. I giggle, "5 more months and she's here."

He grins excitedly at this. "And the twins are already 9 months." He sighs. "I know. They are growing up way too fast for my taste." I say biting my lip.
