"EHHHH!?"
Six grown men, sextuplets actually, gasped in surprise.
…
On one hot summer day, their mother and father, Matsuyo and Matsuzo Matsuno, called them over to the snack table for an "important" meeting.
Todomatsu, the youngest of the family, and the most fashionable, was the first to ask what was happening. Noticing the huge luggage that was stacked on top of their table that was usually full of rice crackers.
"Eh? Are we going somewhere mom?"Matsuyo sighed, "We are, but you NEETS aren't. Me and your father decided to go to Hawaii for one whole year! After all, it's been a while since we had any alone time."
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN?!" Choromatsu, the third oldest of the brothers, screamed in panic. "Why all of a sudden?!"
It was hard enough to live with his brothers with his parents. If they go now, the stress he will gain will kill him! After all he thought he was the brother that was the most responsible, so he needs to take the initiative to set his brothers right. Even if they think Choromatsu isn't, and just concludes he has a huge ego, maybe more than Karamatsu! The second oldest brother with too much confidence in himself. Once he made a rumor about himself in his whole neighborhood that he dated almost every girl in Japan! Of course everyone just shrugged it off, knowing his boastful and cringey personality wouldn't even want dead girls to date him.
Matsuzo slammed the table with his palm, trying to break Choromatsu out of his panic state. "You should know why! We just need a break! Your mother have been cooking and cleaning this house for practically her whole life! While I was working to pay off the house bills and for your allowance! Did you forget you were all NEETS?!"
Osomatsu, the oldest brother tried to protest, but Matsuzo cut him off instantly, tired of their whining. They're adults for christ's sake!
"It's about time we treat ourselves and take a break from you guys." Finishing his declaration, he crossed his arms and shifted in his seat uncomfortably. Clearly showing distress.
As if Matsuyo was crying she covered her eyes with her arms. "I'm not sure.. I don't think I can handle leaving you NEETS alone! You all are precious babies to me who are all useless!"
The sextuplets grabbed the chest as if their hearts was in agonizing pain, immediately thinking, "GAH! THAT DEMON WOMEN! HOW COULD SHE SAY SOMETHING SO MEAN IN A NICE WAY?!"
Todomatsu, a person who only cared about himself, recovered and burst out, "You deserve a lot of rest mom! There's no reason why you shouldn't go!" However, even if said these sweet words, you could see that his innocent looking eyes were filled with lies.
The rest of the brothers glared at Todomatsu's sudden burst of "love". Screaming the word, betrayer with their eyes.
Thinking he would get praise to be the first son to agree for them to go, he actually got the opposite.
"Well of course we are going to go. Don't think I don't know what you're planning Todomatsu.", his mother deadpanned, eyeing his son with a sharp look on her face.
Matsuyo then clapped her hands, refreshing the atmosphere. "Anyways! You can all take care of yourselves, RIGHT?" Her voice sounded a bit strained at the end, but still menacing.
Out of fear and despair the sextuplets instantly lined up and bowed down synchronized, yelling out, "YES MA'AM!"
She smiled. "Great! Then call us if something happens!" Just as Matsuyo was about to leave with her bags she suddenly stopped. "But.. that just makes u hopeless NEETS right? Sons that can't even let their parents relax even if they're out of the country RIGHT?!"
The brothers gulped anxiously. Scared out of their minds, as chills ran down their spines. Looking at their father for help, all he was doing was nodding in agreement.
Matsuyo continued, "But I know you guys can do it! You don't need to worry about food since at least three of you know how to cook." She glared specifically at Choromatsu, Karamatsu, and Todomatsu. As Matsuyo and Matsuzo approached their front door she asked in a threatening tone, "And you guys surely know how to even clean right?"
Once again the sextuplets let out a crystal clear "yes ma'am".
"Great! Well then, take care!"
Matsuzo then warned while walking out, "Be careful, and don't waste money!"
He expected he was going to get the same response his sons gave to his wife, but instead he was ignored.
"HEY!-" Matsuzo was cut off by the front door slamming shut in front of his face. "Oh those stupid sons of ours! I better see the house still standing when we get back!"
A/N: not sure if I want to continue this.. please comment if you do!
