A/N: I almost never put an author's note in the beginning of a chapter, but I just feel like I need to say this. I completely, utterly can not stress this enough. I mean I hate, hate, hate this cover. It took incredibly to long to look so . . . simple. You see those clouds things up there . . . yeah that wasn't there before it's photoshop . . . Yup! PHOTOSHOP! The picture was too plain so I added a little bit of a creative touch, and it still looks horrible. I mean I'm not even that upset that it looks horrible, I mean look at the one in the last chapter, but this one took incredibly too long to look this ugly. Lol. I'm done with my little rant now.
Chapter 5 - lies
I'd be lying if I said that Alexander picked me up and sat me on his desk without breathing the kiss. That's what you guys wanted to hear right? Well, this is reality, and I can guarantee you that things didn't go down like that. In fact a few seconds after he kissed me he quickly pulled away like my lips had burnt him somehow.
"I can't do this I'm her teacher," He mumbled to himself as he ran a hand through his hair.
I took a step towards him. "Yes, you can. Come on, Mr. Michaels please don't do this." I pleaded. I really didn't have the ego to get rejected by my psychology teacher.
"It's Alexander!"
"It wasn't 'Alexander' a few moments ago," I mumbled under my breath.
He scowled at me. "Mia, you are my student. I can't have a romantic relationship with you. I'm already breaking every rule in the book. I shouldn't have asked you to come to Jade's Coffee, and I definitely shouldn't have kissed you . . . twice. It's just been a rough few weeks for me . . . and you aren't making it any better."
I scoffed, "Really? I remember you saying that I made you feel 'emotions' the last time I checked." I stated recalling what he had said to me at Jade's Coffee. Is he really trying to change things up now?
Alexander sighed, "Look that was way out of my character I shouldn't have said that. We can't have a romantic relationship with each other. Can we just forget that this whole situation happened between us? I would actually like to keep my job if that's okay with you."
The only thing I got out of what he just said was "A romantic relationship"
I smirked as a brilliant idea struck my mind.
"We don't need to have a romantic relationship," I purred, "We can be whatever you want." I winked so he could get the hint, but he just scrunched his nose up in disgust.
