6~ Like a Princess

---Monday---

I woke up feeling cranky. Until I thought about Thomas and how we're a thing.

I smiled.

I got ready for school and went to change. I wore a T-shirt with a sweatshirt and gray leggings.

I ran downstairs and got breakfast. I grabbed a pancake that my mom made and started eating it while walking outside.

I walked outside and saw Thomas waiting for me.

"Hey beautiful."

"Hey!"

I was so excited that I could walk with him.

We walked to school while talking.

When we got there we walked to homeroom. We sat by each other and goofed off. At one point I secretly stole his book he was reading.

We walked out of the class and he still didn't notice.

We had to go to separate classes after that.

---Fast Forward to Lunch🍕---

I just decided to sit in a random hallway with Thomas because we could sit wherever during lunch.

"Have you seen my book?"

I snorted out loud.

"YOU TOOK IT DIDNT YOU!" He yelled.

"Maybe" I said while I grabbed it out of the side pocket of my backpack and ran.

I could hear Thomas getting up and running after me.

I started running through the hallways. Luckily no teachers were in sight.

I could tell Thomas was getting closer.

I stumbled over myself and then I knew Thomas had reached me.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and twirled me in the air.

I felt like a princess.

I giggled and he set me down holding my hands.

"Now can I have my book?"he asked like a gentlemen.

"If you insist."

I handed him the book and he smiled at me and thanked me.

We walked back to our seat which was a lot further than I remember.

We finished our lunch pretty fast so we decided to walk outside.

Of course we held hands☺️

We walked around this garden and talked about the most random things.

"And that's why it's called corn on the cob!"

"Ohhhhhhhhhhh"

We started laughing.

After that we started leaving to go to our next class.

"I'll meet you outside by the oak tree." He said.

"Ok. See you then."

I smiled and waved goodbye.

---End of Last Period---

I got all my stuff together and walked outside.

I walked over to the oak tree where Thomas was waiting.

"Hey beautiful!" he said.

"Hey!"

We started walking home.

"So how was your day?" he asked.

"Great! You know that one kid that gets really bad grades because he reads all the time."

"Ya"

"Well we were taking a test and the teacher was talking about how to take your time and then like 20 seconds later he yelled- DONE!"

I started cracking up and Thomas giggled.

We talked about our day the rest of the way home.

We got to my house. I hate saying goodbye to him.

But I guess I have too.

"Bye Thomas." I said.

"Bye Phoebe" he kissed me on the cheek.

I blushed a little. Just like I did when I had a crush on him.

He went home and I went up to my room and mostly chilled.
