Love at First Sight

7~ Date Night

I just got home from school and was lying on my bed on my phone.

"HEY PHOEBE!" I heard Thomas shout.

"Ya"

"I have a good idea for tonight!"

"What?!?"

"Two words- date night!"

"OMG I love it!!!"

"So how about we leave around 6?"

"Sounds amazing! See you then!"

It was 4 o'clock which meant I only had 2 hours.

Crap.

I hope that's enough time.

I quickly took a shower and blew dried my hair.

I took me 20 minutes to pick out my outfit but I finally decided on a long light blue dress.

I put on a little bit of makeup, contacts, and curled my hair.

I felt so fancy.

I still had 10 minutes so I went on my phone and read on Wattpad.

I heard the doorbell ring so I ran downstairs and opened it.

Thomas was standing there holding a rose🌹

"Hey beautiful!" he said with a smile.

"Aww Thomas"

He was wearing a tux.

We decided to not walk but since neither of us could drive yet, his sister drove us.

"So Thomas. Where even are we eating?" I asked.

"It's a surprise"

We drove while talking.

We finally pulled up to a restaurant.

It was the nicest restaurant in the whole city!

"Thomas, how will we pay for this"

"I've been saving my allowance for months."

He's so sweet.

We walked in and ordered a table for 2.

We got to our table and Thomas pulled my chair out for me to sit.

"There you go my lady!" he said in some accent.

Then he sat down and we started talking about school and family and stuff.

The waiter toke our order- I got some chicken with veggies and Thomas got steak.

We kept taking.

"Hey Phoebe"

"Ya babe?"

"Can I tell you something more serious?"

"Of course Thomas! You can tell me anything." My mind was racing with what he would say.

"I love you. I truly love you. You probably didn't know this but I was broken before I moved here. I didn't have any friends and no one would even talk to me. You are my everything. You're the reason I get out of bed. You're the reason I smile. You're the reason I'm happy. I don't want to lose you.....ever."

I felt a tear run down my cheek. No one has ever said anything so nice to me before.

All I could say was, "I love you too."

He just smiled. I could tell his eyes were watery.

Our food came so we started eating.

It was delicious.

We talked some more and then the waiter came with our check.

Thomas eyes widened when he saw the price.

"Do you have enough money?" I whispered.

"Ya. Barely. But anything for you" he said and then smiled.

I smiled back.

After he paid, we left and his sister picked us up.

We got to my house but I REALLY didn't want to say goodbye.

"How about we go get out of these clothes and then meet here and watch a movie?" I suggested.

Thomas agreed and went home to change.

I ran upstairs and changed into sweats and a T-shirt.
