hyungwon looks famished and weak. the boy's pale skin allowed his dark circles to be more visible and his ever soft skin to get dry and crinkly. the raven-haired boy went to the cafeteria to see his usual group of friends waiting for him. he quickly bought his tray of food for lunch and swiftly made his way to the table.

"whoa...what happened to you man?" minhyuk asked. minhyuk has always been a source of motivation and inspiration for hyungwon and his group of friends, mainly because the boy spreads positive vibes all around him like a ray of literal sunshine. whenever his friends feel discouraged, minhyuk would always be able to convince them into having determination again.

"insomnia," hyungwon deadpanned. afterall, it was partly true. the raven-haired boy hasn't been able to sleep peacefully because of the disease. he had to wake up every few hours just to visit the bathroom so whenever he coughs, blood and petals wouldn't be all over the place. it was tough, including changkyun who had to worry about his roommate every minute.

"take care of yourself! we wouldn't want you to die haha" jooheon laughed jokingly as hoseok chuckling along, softly hitting jooheon as he did so. to hyungwon, his focus was on a different matter. hoseok looked majestic today as well. his big doe eyes and his cherry red lips. you have no idea how much the younger wants to place his own over them.

if only you all knew...

after the laughing eased, minhyuk cleared his throat. his eyes seemed serious with a passion. meanwhile, jooheon appears to be sweating a little? he gulps as everyone appears to be waiting for minhyuk to say something. he entwined his hands with jooheon's and rose them up, beaming from ear to ear, announcing proudly. "we're dating!"

jooheon's face began to tint with pink as everyone congratulated the couple. "i called it! you two were being so obvious!" hoseok exclaimed loudly, grinning while he filled with envy. "s-shut up minhyuk! everyone's going to hear it.." jooheon mummers as he hid his face in hoseok's shoulder. "then let's let everybody know that you're mine." minhyuk whispers sexily in the smaller's ears as the others cheered.

"w-what about you hoseok? do you like anyone? or are you dating?" jooheon quickly switched the subject which hyungwon's ear perked up, nervous from the other's reply. the air soon grew intense as the 4 boys looked at hoseok with their strong gaze. don't tell me...

"hmm..no! i don't recall crushing or dating anyone" hoseok giggled as 3 boys groaned for having to receive a lame answer and hyungwon heaving a sigh of relief, yet with a tinge of sadness. if hoseok were to like someone, hyungwon will have to choose that last resort.

"i'm sure hyungwon has someone he likes!" minhyuk smirked as he pointed at the younger who clearly has stiffened up. crap! am i that obvious? "well, uh, i do have someone i like...but," hyungwon dragged. his eyes met changkyun's worried ones which clearly was fearing for the older. hyungwon nodded softly, giving his roommate a gentle smile, indicating everything is going to be fine.

"i'm sure he doesn't like me back. period."

minhyuk and jooheon looked at each other. "it's a he! hyungwon came out!" the couple cheered as hyungwon was literally confused. he had thought that they would give a series of phrases like 'don't give up' and 'he'll like you back'. though it wasn't what he had expected, he was happy that his friends did not judge him for who he was. changkyun breathed out all his tense air, thankful that everything turned out better than he thought it would be. as long as hyungwon wasn't hurt, it'll be fine. the raven-haired boy slowly glanced at hoseok, a small blush creeping onto his cheeks.

but there was hoseok, smiling bitterly.
