"So...that's the guy?" I asked, cocking my head, analysing him. The man was sitting in the interrogation room, while I was standing outside, beside Castiel. In the IOF headquarters.
I was so happy that I got the incredible honour to see the inside of the IOF's UK headquarters. The exaggeration of me being very happy was solely because I got to be here; without Judy. She was behaving her normal self these past three days, acting as if she did nothing wrong. Meanwhile, I was totally fuming each time I saw her face.
I even tried annoying her sometimes. Like yesterday, I added another 6 to her apartment's door. 666. Anyone passing by could tell who resided in it.
But what satisfied me at that time in the car was Mr Ford's reply. "Okay, I'll get on it." That was it. Judy looked like she wanted to hear more but poor her, she got only five words out of Mr Ford, and that didn't even include a thank you or good job. I bit my cheeks at that time, so as not to laugh.
But I refrained from letting her accompany me anywhere else. And even when I came here, I told her not to bother because I would already have Castiel by my side. Surprisingly, Castiel simply nodded along and didn't give Judy any time to object. I simply hated him less sometimes.
Back to the subject, I continued analysing the suspect. I was trying to see if he had the murderer look. He was sitting alone in the interrogation room, with his handcuffs in one hand and the other clasped with the chair.
He was brought here yesterday, according to what Raphael told me. He was the suspect they got after taking the case in their hands. Meanwhile, Argan's supposed murderer was still unfound. Or the full team, that is.
"He was caught fleeing the prison a few hours after the escape of Rick Walds. But the interesting fact is that he was not a prisoner there. The officers there do not recognise him and do not know how he even got in. That's why it was a bit difficult trying to track him. What we assumed is that he help Rick Walds escape then he fled right after."
"Okay, but what are you waiting for? Interrogate him," I said.
"You think we didn't do it already?"
"Oh, you should have told me before, idiot. So what's the verdict?" I asked, turning towards him, meeting his glaring eyes. He didn't take casual insults lightly, but well, none of my concern.
He rolled his eyes and replied, "He refuses to speak English. He's Italian. We are waiting for another interrogator who's Italian. He'll be here in a few minutes."
"Pshh, you could have just told me to do it. Why wait?" I said, scoffing.
"I remember you having taken Italian classes in the first year of high school, Haelyn. A reminder; you failed."
"I know," I said glaring at Castiel. "I just didn't pay attention. But this time, I'm better. I have google translate," I nodded smugly.
"I think a person itself may be more reliable than that," I heard from beside me as a man entered. Oh, it was Shooky. Damn it's been a while since I saw him.
"Oh, you got the file on that guy? I thought you'd take more time," Castiel commented.
"Yup, there it is," Shooky said, approaching us with a file in his hands, "It was easy. I just ran his description in all police stations and got his information. I'll go in first and tell you later."
"Shooky, you're Italian?" I asked surprised. He did not really seem like one and his accent was kinda normal, that is British normal.
Both men looked at me weirdly. Then I realised.
"Well, you didn't tell me your name...so I gave you one," I mumbled and shrugged.
"My name is Lucio," Shooky said in a hard tone. He didn't seem to appreciate nicknames.
