I was having a hard time breathing with a sharp knife pressed against my throat. And Castiel stood by the door, his gun now trained to Julian's head, who also happened to have a gun with him.

I heard some struggling and fighting from outside. I wondered how many men came for this raid. After a few seconds, Raphael arrived as well, dressed in pizza delivery worker's clothes. I was slightly disappointed that it was only an act. I was in the mood for a real pizza.

I closed my eyes and told myself to come back to my senses. I could die right now. The man holding the knife to my throat was a doctor. He's got the skills for a precise cut and kill.

Seeing Raphael coming in as well, Dr Sullivan stepped back, wary. He gestured to the knife in his hand as a warning. Raphael pointed his gun at Dr Sullivan in response. What more will they do now? A staring competition?

"Get out of the room and we won't kill her," Dr Sullivan warned.

"No can do," Castiel replied right away. Wow, he must really hate me.

The knife pressed harder at the side of my neck. I gasped as I felt a slight sting. From Castiel and Raphael's reactions, I deduced that he must have done this to show that his threat was real.

If I did not do anything, Dr Sullivan and his sidekick would be able to run away. I looked at Julian who was two meters away from Dr Sullivan and I. I cast a glance downward at the knife. If I tried to move away in any direction, the knife would definitely come in contact with the neck again, with full damage.

I looked at Castiel who was pointing a gun at Julian. He gave me a side glance. He looked down and nodded at me. I gave him a puzzled look. What did he want to say? I tried to look down but the knife stopped me.

Okay, I got it. I took a deep breath and counted.

One...

Two...

Three!

I stomped hard on Dr Sullivan's foot. Considering that I was wearing heels, it must have hurt. Hissing in surprise, he looked out and moved his hand away from my throat. Seizing the opportunity, I grabbed the hand holding the knife and turned it around as I got out of his reach.

It must have hurt as I twisted his hand. He dropped the knife and I kicked it sideways. Seeing what was going on, Julian's gun turned towards me. I copied Dr Sullivan's earlier move, positioning myself behind him and kicked him in Julian's direction.

Julian's gun went up as he fell, a gunshot sound resonating in the building.

Raphael and Castiel rushed into action. The brave me ran out of the room.

I was going to run out of the apartment but then decided against it. There could be a possibility of one of them running away. They may need me, my delusional self thought.

I peeked into the room again to see Castiel raining blows onto Dr Sullivan. Ha! Yes! Served him right. Make mashed potatoes out of him!

Castiel, being of a bigger built and having lots of training, easily empowered Dr Sullivan. It was obvious that this was not his field of expertise.

However, Julian was more skilled at fighting. Raphael had kicked his gun aside when he fell. He couldn't reach for it as he was busy defending himself from Raphael's punches. He held himself well at first when he managed to block Raphael's punches. But his fighting skills were more unstable compared to Raphael's calculated moves. Raphael had the upper hand because of professional training. I kept analysing their actions, acting as a commentator in my head.
