I Know Her

"I wondered why I received a call from your phone and it was a woman on the line." 

This coming from Vic. 

"It shocked the hell out of me, but before I could ask her anything she hung up. Comanche nodded and kept running his fingers through Jada's hair. His brothers knew he didn't have a lady and hadn't had one for a while. So, when Jada called them, it must have really caught them by surprise 

"Now I see her, I think I know her." 

This coming from Davey, Comanche's hand froze in mid-stroke. He hoped, no prayed that Jada hadn't dated Davey, the Irishman liked women no matter the color. If she was female Davey wanted her, that had all changed when he met and married his wife Kyran. Pronounced Karen, but that didn't mean he didn't date her before that.

"How do you know her?" 

Davey laughed, he could see Comanche's temper starting to brew, it didn't take much to set off the Native American. 

"Calm down brother, I think she's one of my friends on Instagram. Davey pulled out his phone and started scrolling over to the application. 

"Yeah, see right here, Davey showed a picture of a smiling woman that looked like Jada. She's friends with Kyran, they are both part of an Instagram group, for abused women." 

Davey went quiet on that last part, everyone knew about Kyran's past. She was the victim of an abusive boyfriend, the boyfriend tried to beat her up when he saw her talking to Davey. She was asking Davey where to find a restaurant where she was supposed to meet the same said boyfriend at. But, when the boyfriend saw her talking to Davey, he thought something different and made the mistake of smacking her in front of Davey.
