"Hey Bruiser what are you doing here?"

Madison held the door opened and smiled. Bruiser's breath was taken away, he didn't know what to say. He always lost his words when he saw her smile.

"I came to check on you and see if the boys had dropped off your car."

Madison stepped back to let Bruiser in.

"Yeah, they did this morning. Do you want to come in I'm just starting dinner have you eaten?" Bruiser stepped in and headed towards the kitchen following behind Madison.

"No I haven't, it seems like I came at the right time. What are you making?"

Bruiser went to the kitchen sink to wash his hands.

"I'm making an Italian dish I saw online."

Bruiser grabbed a paper towel and dried his hands.

"Sounds good can I do anything to help."

Madison smiled.

"Wow, the big bad biker is going to help me in the kitchen. Sure, I won't turn that down. You can start by washing and then dicing up four of those Roma tomatoes. Two are for the dish and the other two are for the salad."

Bruiser grabbed the tomatoes.

"Will do."

They worked in companionable silence to make the meal.

"Thank you for helping me cook, I never had a man do that before."

Bruiser twirled some pasta onto his fork.

"What Bouncer never helped you cook?"

Madison shook her head.

"No, he had strong views that women cooked and men took care of everything that he didn't deem as women's work."

Bruiser chewed his food thoughtfully he had a few brothers that thought like that. But, not him he was taught by his own father how to cook so he had been doing it since he was young.

"Yeah I have some brothers who think like that, but I'm not one of them. I feel we're a partnership so if we're both working we split the chores equally. Now, if you're not working then I expect you to clean the house but when it comes to cooking I like cooking so we can both do that together."
