"I was so upset at what was happening because of me that I just wanted to go home. But, they wouldn't let me leave, and then you walked in grabbed me and brought me here. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cause you and your brothers any problems don't be mad. I just wanted to see you, I should have just stayed at home."
Jada went silent, upset that she had caused so many problems.
"Sweetie, it's not your fault, you did the right thing. You told the guy to leave you alone, You spoke to one of my brothers, explained the situation, and then you tried to leave. You did everything right if you are my lady or the lady of one of my brothers we are supposed to protect you. The property patches that you saw the two women at the party wearing. People think it's some kind of slave ownership thing and that's not the case. It's kind of like a wedding ring in the bike world, it shows you belong to me and no one is to mess with you, and it helps my brothers to identify who you are and who to look out for if there is trouble. We have fifteen charters in fifteen different states if we go to a party and you have my patch on your back if something happens and I can't get to you one of my brothers will grab you and protect you.
So, I can't be mad at you for acting like my old lady and doing what you were supposed to do. My brothers did what they were supposed to do, they protected you and the other women. I would have been angry at them had they not looked out for you in this situation, you understand?"
Jada nodded her head and continued to play in Comanche's hair.
"You like my hair?"
Jada nodded her head again.
"It's so long and pretty, I like how soft it is."
Comanche smiled, he moved her so she was straddling his lap, and brushed his hair forward so it was covering his face but it was also closer for her to reach. He took her hands and stuck them in his head.
"Please play away."
As she did, Comanche felt the tension release from her body, and it was actually soothing to him as well.
